Dominique was fantastic. I had an issue with my booking through no fault of theirs and she handled it smoothly and with professionalism. Overall a great experience with this U-Haul location.

I checked into the app and went through all the steps and it asked me to get the keys from the inside. The app told me that I did not stand in line but could go right up to the counter and get my keys. The rep told me to get in line and I had to wait. After my turn was up, the keys were not at the counter. We went outside and tried to open the key lock boxes that were hard to open and the keys were not in there. At that point, he told me that we would have to switch it out and I was gave a little sigh due to being frustrated.At that point, he started yelling at me saying things like it's not my problem and if I had a problem with it to report it and leave a review. I am not sure what his problem was but it was uncomfortable.He gave me the keys to the new truck and I walked out into the lot to leave. The truck was blocked in so I went inside to tell him. He grabbed all the keys to move the 2 trucks behind me so I could get out. While he was backing them out he struck the second one with the one he was driving and got out. He didn't even guide me out so I was safe from hitting another vehicle or person.Honestly, it was a terrible experience and I won't be coming back.

My first reservation at a different location dropped the ball. I was sent to this Burlingame location, because the first place didn’t have my truck. Dominique was extremely helpful and very personable. If fact, she did so well, I forgot I was upset about the missed reservation. Thank you Dominique!

I got the truck I needed at this location and the staff was very helpful. Would have been five stars but I dropped off the truck in the back per the instruction of an employee and they called the next day asking if I still had the truck. They took care of it and I wasn’t charged extra.

Horrible customer service!!! The black girl who is "deaf" is ghetto as hell! I was in Uhaul and the girl who was trying to get help (which was unsuccessful in receiving help to get in the door) by explaining the door wouldn't open up but kept saying welcome back. The deaf chick who works at uhaul kept saying well IDK I don't work at this store so maybe you should try your pin. I was frustrated for the girl because damn, she did use her pin. Then as the young woman started walking away. The deaf chick started a argument with the customer!!!!! The black deaf girl needs to quit her job, customer service ? is not for her.

Please please please learn some customer service skills please. Awful. Took 2+ months of waiting and 4 visits to get a refund. Needed the owner to talk down the cute little fella desk helper. Solved my problem in 5 minutes with the right help, unfortunately it's all but helpless here. Terrible experience.

Rented a truck for a one day move, swept it out perfectly with broom and dust pan after use and they still charged me a $25 cleaning fee. Called to reverse it, was left on hold for 15 minutes then transferred to a call center. Took almost 45 minutes to get on the phone with someone to see why they charged me extra. Will use Penske next time.

28th and Burlingame location reserved me the wrong truck and time and then charged me extra fees when I returned the truck. The fees are ridiculous and they should definitely let you know ahead of time what they will charge. I will never use another U-Haul again. This has really made me mad, especially in the process of trying to move.

They refused to give me a 10' truck rental that I reserved online until I called the call center and was told to mention I had a GUARANTEED reservation. Once I said I had a guaranteed reservation, a truck magically appeared out of nowhere. The rude female employee was MAD that I got a truck and commented "well now we're short a truck for tomorrow". Well, lady, that's not my problem or my fault. So tomorrow's customers must be more important than me. I will never visit this location again.

This was before we left. They charged me anyway. The door kept getting stuck. The truck smelled like weed and we found weed inside the truck. Ill never use this place again. After reporting this they never even tried to contact me.

Literally wouldn't even rate it a one. My husband came to this U-Haul today to get a rental for the day. I broke down on the side of the road and I work for a delivery service. I have 100 packages in my work van that is broke down that need to be delivered today. So I asked my husband to get a U-Haul come to get me load it up deliver these packages and return the rental. NOW the credit card I used had declined due to unusual card activity and this certain card allows me to swipe once a day. So therefore the store manager Ryan decided to make a note under my husbands name....note saying "he was trying to rent for someone else". Well yes his whole WIFE WHO IS BROKE DOWN ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. I then called U-Haul and they can't remove it called the store asked RYAN to remove it and he still will not remove it. I've spent $30 on lyfting my husband to 2 locations who refused to rent to him. Because of RYANS note the next place refused to help as well. I'm still on the side of the road and might possibly lose my job now. THANKS UHAUL. THANKS RYAN. Your customer service was horrible and you have literally made my day 10 times harder than needed. Contacting John now.

I've used this location on two separate occasions to install hitches on my vehicles. The people are friendly and their prices are great. Would use again.

We showed up already stressed out because of a big across state move and once we already had our car on a tow dolly we realized we had the wrong dolly. The guy helping us was so kind and patient and helpful. It honestly helped keep us calm and with little to no delay we were on the road! Wonderfully friendly people to interact with on our stressful day.
