Completely unprofessional and does not care about the customer. All these people care about is your money. Mike in particular seemed nice at first and turned into a real piece of work. He was rude to me and my gf for absolutely no reason.
0/10 do not recommend these clowns.

UPDATE: picked my car up Friday, Mike said it was test drove about a hour, drives great all is good and this generation of car can go for years. Drove out of the lot, headed two miles for home, had to pull over within 5 minutes, over heating and dummy lights. Took it back, talked to Keith this morning, hoping for good news soon. Everything else in it seemed fine, no smoke or anything. Fingers crossed! It was about 103 degrees with the heat index at pick up,

I searched without sleep for 48 hours reading reviews and posting on local sites asking where to take my Honda, (my baby) to have the serpentine belt fixed It snapped on one of the most ridiculous hot days ever in Michigan. I have a husband and son who are not physically healthy enough to help me, so My car has been dealership maintained since its birth. She has almost 300k miles and not one dash light. I truly love my car, it is my safe place, it’s where I think, relax, with my job, sometimes sleep and I am one of those one paycheck away from losing everything, so I can’t afford a new one. I have to be able to get to work, family doctor appts, etc. My car is everything. I have RA and Lupus, I can’t be breaking down, this was scary for me to go outside the comfort of the dealership. Within 24 hours of having her towed in I received a call from Keith with the price, what the work entailed so i understood exactly what was happening. They charged a very fair price, gave me comfort of work being done and explained the warranty. If you are looking for a place to take your car, not just for a repair but to care for your baby, to keep her safe on the road, please do not hesitate to call Keith or Mike. I am so excited to get her back today! Keith, you’re a true blessing! Thank you for taking a very stressful scary situation and making it as pain free as possible for me.

Took my truck in for a shutter that was occurring. After they test drove the vehicle and determined the same issue, they immediately told me that the transmission was junk and needed to be replaced, quoting the work at over $4500 (which is fair for a transmission replacement on this truck). They told me that they diagnosed this simply by driving the vehicle and no further inspection was done. So I decided to get a second opinion and took it to a certified toyota specialist. They did a full inspection and found that the shutter was caused by low transmission fluid due to a bad gasket. They replaced the gasket, and topped of the trans fluid charging me only $200. The truck has been running perfectly ever since and I've put probably 8000 miles on it since with no issues.
Bottom line is, I used to take my vehicles to AAMCO and have had great work done, but I don't think I will be returning after this. Idk if it's being run by the same guys as back in the day, but a misdiagnosed trans replacement is way too costly of an oversight.

EXCELLENT care! I got quoted almost $8,000 by another shop to replace my transmission. These guys took a look, it was a quick fix and my bill was south of $400. Real experts and incredible customer service. Highly recommend.

Couldn’t be happier with my experience with AAMCO Transmission. I blew o the transmission in my F-150. I had it towed there on Monday afternoon, just a couple hours later I had a phone call from Mike that updated me on what was going on with my truck and an estimate for repairs.The next day he called with an update on the price and to confirm I wanted them to proceed with the repairs (and to be certain I was willing to spend that much money to have the truck repaired. On Tuesday morning, I was happy to hear that he expected they would be done with everything on Friday.To my surprise, I got a call on Thursday morning. When I saw the number I was afraid there was going to be more charges or that they ran into a problem—but that was not the case—he was calling to let me know the truck was finished and I could come pick it up ASAP!I couldn’t believe how quickly they were able to get my truck in and out. You might be able to get the work done cheaper somewhere else, but you cannot beat the service and extremely fast turn around time from this shop.My experience with them was excellent. I was very impressed with how they treated me, kept me informed and up to date on the process, and speedy service.Definitely will recommend them to family and friends in the future and would not hesitate to bring another vehicle to them if I need repairs in the future. Highly recommend!!

I blew a spark plug and called them. They told us to bring it there. Towed it, arrived, then was told they couldn't do it because their mechanic was too old. Had to pay another tow fee to haul it somewhere else. Not happy At All.

Had my son’s 2012 focus in for transmission work and they did a great job… got the car in quick and got it back quick!!! My son’s mileage went up and says it feels like a new car he is very impressed!!! Would recommend AAMCO for car repairs!Service: Transmission

I took my 2014 Malibu in and paid $89 for diagnostic test was told I needed to have my transmission rebuild 4000.00. Told them I would come get it l. Towed it to Feldman Chevrolet did a diagnostic check and told me it was my stop start battery?? How is this possible? Update. They were correct other place was wrong. Please accept my sincere apology for this negative review.
