Since there is no way to phone the store to alert a staff member (I tried) I figured I'd alert them this way. The parking lot was very slick today. I slipped on the way in and out. There was no sign of salt on the ground.

I have always enjoyed interactions with the people that work here. The store is quite new and the layout is good, and there are plenty of self-checkouts.

The cashiers are completely on their own. It's irrelevant how many other workers there are. If there are 3 problems with self scan & a line, they can call for help, but depending on how quickly someone comes all of the customers are SOL. I despise that workers have no responsibility to eachother because if they did their prices wouldn't be low! I guess good German ideas die under the blight of unfettered capitalism!
I can't stop shopping here because of affordability but I despise that "everyone" for themselves crap?

We do most of our grocery shopping at Aldi. Prices are low and quality is good.

Gotta love Aldi!
Pro tips:
1) DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR OWN BAGS. Sometimes there's a pile of free empty boxes, but you can't count on it.
2) If you have the time, do your research. Aldi prices for some items are not always lower than Meijer/Kroger.
3) Sometimes the name brand and Aldi/generic are very different. It takes trial and error to figure out which generic items you actually like. There are some things (like coffee creamer) that I always buy brand name. They taste very different to me.
4) Try to go in person instead of using instacart if you can. You can't count on the things you order (or your backups) to be in stock. You might also find something new or better that isn't listed.
5) The self-checkout camera is not flattering, but still a great place to check your hair/makeup. ?

Asked the employees if they had dates. They said they did and told me a bunch of stuff that wasn’t true about where to find them. They don’t carry dates at all and they were no where to be found. And then when I passed the employee again in the store he said “you’re not going to kick my a$$”
