This is the worst Bank of America. They usually have one teller. I was there today and I waited for at least 15 mins. The teller wants to make small talk with the customers. I went there on my lunch and wasted my time. At all cost, do not go inside. I ended up leaving.

Great staff. Just not enough of them. NEVER have I come here without having to wait for an hour average. Bank of America management needs to change. Please save this branch and save our business with you otherwise we will go to chase bank instead.

I realize that with the Covid crisis, the banks are understaffed, but that is no excuse for such poor customer service and misinformation. We were purchasing a home out of state and needed to do a wire transfer with the funds. Since my wife and I had never done a wire transfer, we wanted to talk with someone at the branch to be sure we had everything in order. After 2 days of calling(Ann Arbor branch) and getting no answer or call back, and trying to schedule an appointment online which the website wouldn't let us do. we drove the 45 mins to the nearest branch office. There we talked with a trainee who checked everything we asked about with her preceptor and finally said everything was ready to go as soon as we had our outside funds deposited and we could just come in and get it wired in about 15 mins. , no appointment necessary. On the day our funds were deposited, we drove to the branch and decided to call to be sure someone was available to help us. We actually got a hold of a person who told us they had no appointments, they don't take walkins and since the funds just got deposited that day, even though they showed up as available in our account, we couldn't wire them for 24 hours. Our closing was scheduled for the next day. Not knowing what to do we drove another 15 mins to the next branch office. There the manager got us right in, looked up our account and said no problem to wire the funds immediately. He then said he needed a drivers license and a B of A debit or credit card. We have banked there for over 30 years and never used on of their cards. We were then told we could not wire OUR available funds unless we had a valid up to date debit/credit card on us! The only way to get our money wired was to apply for a new card! How absurd, we called title company and they never heard of such a rule anywhere else. Needless to say, our banking is now going elsewhere, yours should as well. Branches must make up their own rules as they go along.
