Pharmacy manager, Abeer, is extremely rude. Earlier in the day I called and spoke with a pharmacist who told me to call my doctor for an authorization and call back later to check the status as my prescription should be ready for pickup today. I called back hours later and the pharmacy manager answered the phone. Everything she said was very different from who I spoke to in the morning. When I asked why she demanded to know the earlier pharmacists name which I didn't remember. During all of this she spoke over me every time I spoke and would not let me finish my sentences or questions. She refused to let me speak to anyone else from the pharmacy and would not give me her name until I asked at least 5 times. She proceeded to tell me I'm not welcome at her pharmacy and to transfer all my prescriptions elsewhere. A VERY harsh reaction to me trying to ask a question and get my meds on time so I do not miss my dose. No good manager would become angry or irritated at a customer trying to figure out how to get their prescription. Stay away from this location as Abeer does not deserve any support for the way she treats her customers.

Doctor Abir Atoui (pharmacist at this location) is incredibly unprofessional and unethical and practices discrimination. She withheld my seizure medication as well as antibiotics for a serious bladder infection because she felt that my partner (yes, you read that correctly, my partner-- not myself) did not address her respectfully enough while trying to figure out an issue with a prescription for my ADHD medication that was written incorrectly (it was written for the incorrect amount and substituted a generic form of the medication that gives me headaches) and get the correct prescription sent over in a timely manner. Rather than work with us to navigate the incorrectly written information and help us to understand what we needed to do to correct the issue (turns out, just a simple call to my doctor's office that they were surprised she did not make herself resolved the issue), this doctor accused me of lying about the prescription having been written incorrectly and seeking narcotics for inappropriate use. Understandably, being treated like a criminal for attempting to fill my medication correctly upset both myself and my partner-- although the prescription is a narcotic, it is one that i have been on for most of my life and greatly improves my quality of life. I have a very difficult time when I'm off of my meds. When we expressed this to her, she continually interrupted and spoke over both of us in a louder and louder tone until she was shouting over us rather than even trying to listen or help us. My partner, who regularly accompanies me to medical appointments to help me advocate for my medical needs, attempted to advocate for me, and was screamed at and chased from the pharmacy area. I don't care how upset a person becomes, this is incredibly unprofessional, toxic, and unethical. I have multiple cognitive and physical disabilities, including a seizure disorder-- which means i am currently a non-driver and this is the only CVS i can reliably access. Because of Doctor Abir Atoui, I am unable to access my seizure medication when i need it and my health is at risk. Reporting this to the BBB immediately.

Four stars for the way they handled my recent (negative! yay!) Covid test. Sure they have nothing to do locally with the stuff you have to do beforehand, but they are responsible for helping administer the test and that part was impressive! After reserving an self-test time online, I was sent a short video explaining what to expect and how to swab myself at the drive-through window. There seemed like a lot of pieces to the process, so I was a little nervous I'd mess it up, but no worries-the lady at the window walked me through each step. She gave great directions and I felt confident I was doing it correctly. My test was administered at the appointed time with a nurse practitioner on premise. I never got out of the car. And, although I was told 3-4 days is typical for test results to be received, I had mine the next day just before midnight! We have used this pharmacy for our regular prescriptions for 3 years and service has always been good for us. When there has been a problem, it has been user-error, meaning we called for a Rx renewal before it was time, or we let an Rx run out completely without realizing we needed to have the doctor call in a new one. CVS worked with us in those situations to our satisfaction.

I go here on a regular basis. This is also where I go for prescription pickups. I went here this time for a flu shot. I usually go to Kroger for this. You have to go to the counter to checkin for a shot. There was one person before me. They were getting frustrated due to noone coming over to assist. I agreed with them. We were finally acknowledged. I filled out the requested form and went to the waiting area. A family arrived after me. They were also questioning when someone would help. When the pharmacist did come out she asked who was getting a shot. I had to speak up since I was first. There did not seem to be much organization. She did the family first. I was ok with the knowing I was almost done so no worries. I received my shot and picked up a few items. It is nice that they have 2 self checkouts but I also feel that maybe it took someone's job. The visit was ok. I will however go somewhere else fir any future shots.

CVS on whittaker rd in Ypsilanti tried to kill me today by mistakenly imputing a prescription to me. Since the prescription apparently didn't have a birthday, instead of checking with the doctor who wrote it they just assigned it to the only person with the same name in their system. This is from their pharmacists own words. The medicine was nitroglycerin. This heart medication could very well have killed me had I taken it without looking at the bottle and noting the doctor and med type first. I am beyond upset at this. How can an incident like this occur. And it isn't the first time such a thing has happened. A CVS in Canton gave my mother Parkinson medication instead of her own and she took it for several days unknowingly. All she got was an oops from that pharmacist.

The pharmacy on Whitaker road in Ypsilanti Michigan is the most incompetent I have ever seen, twice they have not been able to find an electronic prescription, once a few months ago and again today, both times I had to come back and this morning I go to pick up another prescription( after they called and said it would be done) and they said it would be another half hour, dont promise what you cannot deliver!!

This is the absolute worst pharmacy in the world. I keep going back because they are only 2 min away from my house but it's the same exact story every time. Give them 5 hours or days to fill your script and once you pick it up it isn't ready. They aren't kind or apologetic about it they are rude and act like it's your fault for attempting to make them to do their job. They do not have any care or concern whatsoever about customer service or that their patients actually need these meds or they wouldn't be coming to them. Do not attempt to come here unless you want to be pissed off. I'm appalled by their service and the people they have working there.

I called them at 10 in the morning to refill my prescription. I am now here at 8:30, and my prescription is not ready. Are you kidding me? Seriously dude. I don't know much about pharmaceutical but I know it doesn't take more than 10 and a half hours to fill something. Also, when I called this morning, they asked if I could wait til the 22nd?! WTAF!! I pick my prescription up at the same time every month! Idiots.

For many years I have used CVS Pharmacies wherever I have lived; the last one was the South Lyon CVS before I moved to Ypsilanti. Now for the past 9 months I have been using the CVS on Whittaker Rd which is nearest to me. At first I tried to like this place, but they have been out of stock, or have some other problems with filling my scripts on time, nearly every single month over the past 8 months. Each time, they have been rude and dismissive when I told them that it is dangerous for me to go without my medications and yet they don't care, admit as much and then give me a sarcastic "sorry?" as if it is my problem and not theirs. I tried to work out the problems with the head pharmacist and the store manager, but none of them care about their customers or performing their jobs in a correct manner. I have been forced into dangerous scenarios and withdrawals from several medications because of their sheer incompetence and their complete lack of care or concern for their patients, like me. I hate to have to write negative reviews, and I haven't given out a 1 star review before, but I would give this location a zero star if I could. They just simply do not care about their clients and their patients and for a pharmacy, that is very bad news. After 8 months of straight problems every single month, I will never step foot in this store again. I tried multiple times to resolve the issues, but they simply didn't care about trying to meet me in the middle or to make suggestions that would help with the problem. Not only that, but they treat you like you are an inconvenience and a bother to them, instead of an asset to them, which we clients are ALWAYS the primary asset to any healthy business. In short, this is by far the worst CVS I have ever had the misfortune of using. Every other CVS has gladly worked out any issues, but this one is a rogue store for whatever reason. I am in the process of reporting all of this to the corporate division of CVS. In the meantime, I would highly recommend in the strongest terms that you find another pharmacy, because any other random pharmacy would automatically be better than this Whittaker Rd location.

This pharmacy gets one star because there is a lot of passive aggression in this store coming from the management team. The pharmacist is very rude and unprofessional. This needs to change ASAP or I will not return.

This is the worst of the worst CVS pharmacies, but due to proximity to my house, we have kept coming back for more punishment. No more. Kroger has a drive thru and we are in there several times a week. I am transferring 7 of my scripts and my wifes and sons too. They are incompetent and some clerks are liars. They dont want to help and they try to make you feel like they are doing you a favor. For 2 months now, I had been dealing with a particular script that the dosage was changed. CVS claimed insurance needed a prior approval. My dr contacted insurance co. and they said no, CVS just needed to call and get s verbal over ride. My doctor explained this to Katrina for a week. I tried explaining this several times. She never did it. She kept saying it wasnt approved. I could not go without script for even a day so I had to pay out of pocket. CVS needs to do a better job weeding out i competent, apathetic, and ignorant applicants. The customer is not always right, but the customer is always the customer and in this case, a patient. Where is the concern of a person becoming deathly ill or miserable because a person is too lazy to do their job? I complained to corporate and am in process of transferring my entire family's scripts. I will call the manager later when I calm down. I dont like to complain or cause a scene or see someone fired. But this isnt spilled milk or a burnt burger. This is peoples health.

Everywhere I go, there is a CVS Pharmacy nearby. There was one by my old house and one by my old old house. And there was one by my old job. This particular one is near my Mom's place. I have been occasionally stopping here for years and years. Like most CVS locations, this one is as much a convenience store as it is a pharmacy. They have snacks and beverages, they have toiletries and cosmetics, and they have OTC pharmaceuticals. I have never had a prescription filled at this one, but I'm sure they do a bang up job. The shelves are always stocked and clean. This isn't the fastest CVS I've been to, but the service is always friendly.
