The facility is very clean, even the restroom! The staff are very helpful and kind. I always felt very safe being there when I needed to pop in for something in my storage unit.

The ease of getting storage set up is awesome, the staff seems friendly enough and so like how self serve this whole place is. That’s why I gave 2 stars even though I really want to go 1. The 1 is due to the roaches. It looks all clean and bright at first but give it a bit with closed door and they will come take a look at what you’ve brought for them to crawl on. They have roaches. If you didn’t have roaches before storing your items here. You will absolutely have them upon moving out! That is why I’m giving up everything in my unit that has crevices of any kind, including my couch, my cat tree, a bookcase, a desk, and some boxes that weren’t airtight. Idk what was packed in those, but I know there are roaches in them now.
This decision has costs me an additional month in storage fees since I cant just abandon what I don’t want and there’s no on site disposal. So now being new to the area I have to figure out how and where to dispose of these items and rent a truck to dump this stuff because my van is not about to become a roach mobile.
I would complain to management but from other comments I see they have been made aware and I’m guessing have not done much to resolve it because when I say roaches crawling, I don’t mean 1 or 2 I mean enough to say, this clearly didn’t just become an issue.
I’ll never do a storage unit again here or anywhere else after this experience. It’s a great concept but cannot and will not do roaches. I’ll edit with pics when I go to clean out. I’m certain that will be some there.

Dona is a wonderful customer service woman who is adept at understanding customer needs and delivering solutions efficiently. She went above and beyond to make sure that I understood everything in the facilities. Dona is clearly an expert at what she does and I'm thankful for her assistance.

My time at cubesmart was very temporary, my belongings were stored 3-4 weeks. I loved that the initial contact and setup was done all virtually and no contact needed. It was a smooth transition… customer service was also great and informative!! The reason for the low review is due to the office Manager Donna. When I was half way through moving out of the unit we spotted a bug and upon further inspection we found out it was a roach. I had never seen a roach in my lifetime and it felt like the earth stopped moving. I was scared… the only thing I could think of was to bomb the unit and bomb the moving truck that my items were on. So we bombed them and returned after 4 hours to continue. That’s when I realized the tops of the units are opened for air ventilation pretty sure it’s about 6-8 inches of just open spacing that connects to each unit. My heart sank a little because even though I’m no pest expert, my common sense told me that the bugs probably just evacuated during the bombing but could’ve returned when it was safe. Me and my family moved the rest of our items into the u-haul and only spotted two more roaches which were dead probably from the bomb but not sure. We then decided it’d be best to bomb our u-haul once more for good measure seeming how bombing the unit was probably useless. We moved our stuff into our new home and bombed again… we were just to nervous and didn’t want to take any chances. We also laid home defense around the home and put down diatomaceous earth everywhere around the home before unpacking. 2 weeks went by with no sighting and I thought we made it out safe and I was feeling so thankful. Then I seen a roach crawling on my closet door, instantly knew we had a problem. I instantly got online to figure out a solution before I had to deal with an infestation. So I bought some products and contacted cubesmart by email to let them know that someone in that building has brought in roaches so they can also do their due diligence. Donna contacted us back and left a voicemail, we went back and forth playing phone tag for a little over a week and a half. During that period another roach was spotted and the concern for the situation grew desperate & I dreaded the war ahead. Finally got in touch with Donna yesterday and was met instant attitude and snarky remarks instead of being sympathetic to my unfortunate experience she insinuated that I could have brought them their myself. She insisted that her pest control guy came out and said their were no evidence in the building of roaches, I asked if she had seen the dead ones in my unit and she said no and she believed her guy and that he had lots of experience. I then asked if the other units were checked and she said that her guy knows what he’s doing. (so that’s basically no) She stated that they have bn their for 3 years and that I am the very first person to ever say they found bugs in their units other than a few rolly pollys or spiders occasionally, kinda funny that she said that after reading other customer reviews. I told her I had proof and had pictures that I could send over as proof because I have no reason to lie, she said I could send them over but it means nothing, how does she even know they were taken in the unit. I was appalled that she was insinuation I was lying I couldn’t believe it, it almost felt like she was defending herself from an attack. I wasn’t blaming her or cubesmart for the roaches, it was clearly brought in by another customer and I was trying to help them and see if they were willing to just compensate me for the products I paid for or even just the month rental cost that I spent seeing how now I have to deal with a very expensive problem!?! I said back to her well how do I know you and your guy aren’t lying about not finding any bugs?! She immediately got triggered and told me the line was recorded. I was pleased to hear it because I hope district management goes over the call to bare witness of the poor customer service and the way that she treated the situation. I hope they resolve the issue & let Donna loose.

Dona at cubesmart has been an absolute angel! She has been so patient and hardworking on the problems that I've had left by the previous manager not taking my concerns seriously. I had already spoken to an attorney, but Dona stepped up and took charge and actually put things in motion. It is because of her that I canceled legal action. She has amazing customer service skills and is an all around amazing person and she really worked hard to put me at ease. If I could give 10 stars for Dona, I most definitely would!!

The pricing is reasonable, and the service is very helpful.
However, it is concerning that there is a FEE for making payments online and over the phone. This is an unnecessary additional charge, especially considering the cost of the storage unit.
