This is a dangerous mess. Out of 4 employees there, it is clear that only one actually knew what she was doing. There were bottles of medication knocked off shelves and scattered all over the floor behind the counter. If you end up speaking with a pharmacy tech who knows less about their job than you do (you will), they will not only fail to help you, but will (and I mean WILL) insult you in the process.

This pharmacy is so poorly managed. I’m worried it’s going to harm patients. I had to go back three times and have the pharmacist count out the medication and properly label it in front of me. Stay away. Corporate doesn’t care and a patients will be harmed because of their sloppy behavior.

I am seriously thinking of transferring my prescriptions. When you really need a prescription they have to order it. It’s rediculous.

I will preface this review by saying I have been using this CVS to fill prescriptions for years, but I will be transferring them today due to this experience. My complaint is mostly aimed at management.This morning I arrived at the CVS located on Michigan Ave. in Ypsilanti Michigan to pick up two prescriptions. When I arrived, the pharmacist was not in yet (despite it being 10:30,) and the older man, who I assumed to be the manager, very (ridiculously) nonchalantly informed myself and another woman that the pharmacist wasn’t in, he didn’t have an ETA for when we could get our prescriptions, and could not open the pharmacy until he did. He had no solutions and offered no measure of apology for what is obviously the fault of the store. He seemed confused as to why customers were upset. Is this how CVS does business? They have so few pharmacists on staff that if one doesn’t show up they simply cannot open? My prescriptions were not life sustaining, but if they were the whole ordeal would be extremely dangerous. The other woman in the store at the same time as me was filling blood pressure medication - not being able to pick that up is unacceptable. I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere, because I don’t believe you should get a second chance once you’ve jeopardized people’s health. I don’t want the next time this happens to be a more serious issue - just in case. If you have very important prescriptions that you can’t afford to not be able to pick up - avoid this location.On another note, I am also appalled by the way the woman (who happened to be black) was blown off by the manager behind the counter (and older white man.) Very disappointing experience.

I am so disturbed because I was not told to NOT take my medications together and I did because the lack of communication from the pharmacist! This can be so dangerous and for the pharmacist to not tell me anything is beyond ridiculous. Obviously they don’t care about people’s health but yet they are a pharmacy that dispenses medications! And they never answer the phone it will be on hold forever until you decide to hang up! It is the pharmacist job to let people know about certain things with medications. What is wrong with this place!!!!!!

While the staff is friendly, the overall efficiency of this location is terrible and inconveniencing. The parking lot is not maintained, there are no barriers/lines for parking spaces, there are signs leaning and coming up from the ground. The confirmations given do not provide precise information. Pharmacy will give a timeline of two hours for testing results but will not honor that time frame and No one answers calls to the store. If you need consistent service or questions to be answered, save your time and do not go to this location.

Extremely INcompetent pharmacy staff. To make things worse, customer service is poor, lack of patient counseling, ridiculous waiting time for medication pick-ups, as well as inappropriate remarks made with patients (lack of professionalism). CVS needs to better serve the people of this community, because this CVS pharmacy location is not it

I’ve been coming to this location for over a year and have become familiar with all of the employees, yet the manager stills watches me shop. As an African American this is troubling.

Haven't been to this pharmacy in years. Reading these reviews makes me feel like I made the best decision. This place is horrible and I feel so bad for what people had to experience with them.

If I could leave a 0 star I would. The incompetence of the pharmacy is unreal. They take absolutely no ownership for their mistakes. I needed a prescription filled, called to inquire information on pricing. I was told a 3 month script would be a little over $200 or a 30 day script would be $89 I said let’s do the 3 month script. I went to pick up. I was in a rush so I paid and left. When I got home i finally opened up the bag only to see that they had filled for a 30 day script even though I paid over $200. I called and the girl who answered wanted to just push the blame off on someone else. I recognized her voice being the same person I had been dealing with this entire time. She told me they made a mistake and that the 30 day script is actually $200. I then said well I want to return the medication because I was given the wrong information. She then proceeded to tell me that once I leave the store I cannot return the medication. I’m am livid. DO NOT go here! They don’t know what they’re doing, and they don’t care.

Plz do not EVER GO TO THIS STORE. I had a situation with the Pharmacy and Manager. Where I had to call the Police. To my avail though. I went to pick up my prescription as usual. But this time when I got home with the sealed stapled paper bag. I then opened and realized my prescription has about 50 tab missing. I then take it back. And the pharmacy refused to do anything ABOUT IT!. IN FACT. I called the police. I asked to see the video from cameras to see who stapled my bag shut. They said they had no video. In fact because its a opiate withdrawal med. They CVS AND THE POLICE TREATED ME LIKE THE PERSON I WAS 10YRS AGO.... A JUNKIE...... IT BROKE MY HEART BECAUSE THE COPS SAID THEY COULDNT DO NOTHING and Cvs wasn't doing anything because I left the premises BUT IT DIDN'T STOP CVS FROM DOUBLE CHARGING both MY INSURANCE ON THE SAME MED and saying there not gonna refund me. Honestly I will never shop at another CVS
