I’ve come to the realization that fifth third is not a good bank to bank with. I had 2 unknown changes on my account and was suppose to get issued a new debit card. Online card services has mailed me 4 cards and I have not yet to receive any of them. Was told it was even mailed to the branch still haven’t received. I received a alert with a email telling me my new debit card has been activated. Called to report that as Fraudulent the customer rep said that I should wait one more day to see if it showed up and that he didn’t see an alert on his end. I called the Whitaker office and of course the bank manager is to busy to take my phone call. The only thing left to do is pull my money out and bank somewhere else at this point. I’m very disappointed in the manner they have handled my debit card needs.

Someone impersonating me walked into this branch and opened a joint checking account in my name, then transferred $25,000 from my savings account into the new account. They then WALKED OUT OF THE BANK WITH MY CASH!!! BTW, I live in Cincinnati, OH. I went into my local branch to ensure that alerts/freezes were put on all my accounts on Friday, by Sunday someone in Michigan was again using my debit card this time to make online purchases. No one from the bank is returning my calls. As soon as I can find another bank I will be leaving Fifth Third.Update: Another 2 unauthorized transactions tonight in Michigan after supposedly having customer service cancel my debit card yesterday!

The fifth and third in belleville was great but they closed. Now I’m stuck with these guys that won’t help when I have an issue in my account. They just keep passing the phone to their coworkers and no one has answers. No one has any knowledge on anything. I’ll be closing my account soon. Im super frustrated in the lack of care and knowledge.

I am not a member of Fifth Third Bank, but I stopped at this location due to a concern over counterfeit currency I was paid during a private sale. I arrived shortly before closing, but they were happy to help me (no line which was nice!) and verified the currency. Their service and attitude were top notch and, although I am part of a credit union, I haven't experienced service like this at any bank in awhile.

I hate this bank worst service ever and i dont mean just this branch i mean the whole Corp i would give negative stars if i could i got a car loan through them and would never do it again i would walk before i took another car loan from this horrible bank do not get loans through them they do not know what they are doing you will be on the phone for half the duration of the loan trying to fix what thier incompetent staff messes up im warning all who see this go somewhere else trust me they are the worst

Been with this bank for 10+ years. The staff is consistently helpful and makes sure that I'm happy when I leave. There are a few folks there that are members of the community and a few folks who come in to fill in occasionally. It's a pretty happy office setting altogether and a quick in and out. I just had my first overdraft in a very long time and after calling the office to speak with one of the helpful folks behind the desk, my fees were reversed as my deposit had come in on the same day. Never ever had a problem there and will continue to do business with them! My thanks to the staff who have become friends.

I have been leaving messages and calling back several times over the last 2 weeks to speaker to someone at the branch. I have not received a call back nor has anyone ever answered the phone. This is the worst bank to try to talk to someone. I hope corporate reads the reviews of this branch. They are all true.

This branch took over $12k in deposits from us, then after accepting the deposits, arbitrarily held over half of the funds for 10 days. Our accounts are supposed to be cleared of holds, and even when the accounts were new we never had a hold of more than five days, for even larger sums. Not all branches operate this way. If you don't like having your money hijacked, you may want to consider using another branch, or a different bank altogether.
