Ordered new flooring today and the gentleman by the name of Jim was wonderful to work with. We had great service from a knowledgeable person. We also caught some sales today and saved some additional money, thank you for a good shopping experience.

Don't use the free install on flooring! Had someone from homedepot come out and measure for carpet in a living room and bedroom, the bed room was wood sub flooring so it went in without a problem but the living room was on a concrete slab had ceramic tiles in one area, I asked are those a problem do I need to remove them he said no. Fast forward Tuesday the 23rd the flooring company can't make it because of vehicles issues understandable they come in on Wednesday and go oh we can't do anything with those tiles there I say ok understandable wish I would have been told Thursday comes around and at this point I've taken 4 days off work to be home for the install same guys that came in on Wednesday they didn't bring any of the correct tools to secure the tack strip to the concrete flooring so luckily I had someone to send to the store for me to get all the things we needed ended up having to use liquid nail now that brings us to Saturday the 27th with no carpet in my living room still!

Horribly inconvenient to the customer. Terrible layout and worst self checkouts I've ever used. Staff is borderline useless

Mary-Ann is great. She normally helps me out at the curb-side pick-up. Fast and very friendly. Knows her stuff.

I am very disappointed in how Home Depot has gone downhill over the last several years, like so many other companiesI purchased a LG Washer and a LG dryer on 12/26/23. A delivery and installation date was scheduled by Home Depot for yesterday, January 2nd. I paid the cost for the dryer installation of $19.99 on the gas dryer and spare parts needed on the gas dryer. My total bill came to $1,253.56, which is very high for the least expensive washers and dryers that Home Depot sells. The two deliverymen came yesterday and simply dropped off the washer and dryer and were gone within about 5 minutes. I was kind of shocked how fast they left! When I went in our basement to test out the washer and dryer, I was totally shocked, because the washer and dryer were not installed. These deliverymen tricked us, ripped us off and never told me why they didn't do any installation! That was so deceptive. My wife called one of the deliverymen and was told that installation was not included on the order; so the deliveryman lied to my wife!!!! He even hung up on her very quickly, which was so rude! These deliverymen deserve to be fired!!!We purchased a washer and dryer twice before from Home Depot - in 2009 and again in 2017 - and never had this type of problem involving the installation.I was too angry to call Home Depot yesterday, so my wife did it for me. The customer service reps she talked with - 2 of them - confirmed that installation was included in my order. So then an installation appt was scheduled for the following week, on January 9th. Our laundry is piling up and requires us to wear the same clothes two days in a row, which sucks!Yesterday, January 9th, the same jerk deliveryman returned and installed our washer, but not the dryer. He claimed that the gas shutoff valve was over 4 feet from the dryer goes, so he couldn't install the dryer. He was very argumentative and provocative towards me.Given the above shabby service that we received from Home Depot's deliverymen yesterday, we are boycotting Home Depot going forward.I actually believe I deserve about a $250 credit to my credit card on the purchase order. They already gave me a $150 credit. Ihope when Home Depot reads this review that they do grant me an additional $100 credit, because I deserve it!To sum up this review, I definitely don't recommend that anyone goes to Home Depot.

We ordered vinyl flooring through Home Depot/CFI the first week of October. We had somebody out to do measurements, and they said that they'd handle carpet removal and disposal as well as the installation, and the price seemed very good. The next day we placed our order.A week later, I called CFI, and our flooring had still not been ordered, and our project had not yet been scheduled. They gave me the excuse that to cut pieces for the stairs, they had to receive material from Home Depot and send it out again to be cut. They wanted to know if I wanted on install date or two (the second when the stair material was finished) I said that one would be fine, and we were schedule for November 9-10.November 9 rolls around, and the crew gives me a call wanting to ensure that the material had been delivered to my home. It had not, nor was it intended to be. Thankfully, they figured out where the material actually was, and were able to arrive a few hours late and finish the main floor. They did not level the floor, which I'm pretty nervous about having heard this flooring requires very flat sub-floor, they did no trim work as the flexible quarter round was missing, as was the material for the stairs and the transitions for the two adjacent rooms. The installers said that they'd be back as soon as Monday with the material for the stairs and complete the installation as well as remove the trash they made from installing the main floor as there was not room on their truck for all the boxes. (The same boxes they literally arrived with a few hours earlier....)Monday comes and goes.Tuesday, 14 November, I call CFI and am told that I was on the "to call list" and that my material is in the warehouse, but that they want to "lay eyes on it." and will call me back within an hour.Wednesday, 15 November, no one called me back so I follow up. Now the material for the stairs has evidently never been ordered and because it takes two weeks to be cut (same old story) they will not be able to do the install before Dec 1. Also, the quarter round and transitions have not been ordered yet. And I'm informed the flexible trim is not their specialty, and they may not be able to do that at all.I will update the review as the project continues, but so far, REALLY bad. Steer clear. We have two more floors that we need to replace, and had informed the Home Depot guy that we'd happily give them those projects as well if this one went well. So far, it's not looking like we're going to do that.Update Nov 30:I just received a phone call cancelling the installation scheduled tomorrow. It is 4:30pm. They claim the stair material was cut wrong. I am blown away by this company's incompetence. It is truly one of a kind idiocy over there.Update December 04:I received a call from Jennifer Walker, the VP of Ops at CFI and she gave me her (allegedly) direct number (they all give you this line, no one ever answers). She sent out their Hard Surface Specialist Brian Day. He actually did show up, did his inspection, the worst of the floor had a 1" drop over less than 6', wildly out of spec for this type of floor, and finally measured the width of the stairs (a detail I'd been telling them to check for some time) finding it to be *Longer* than an uncut board, which is apparently a problem for the type of stairs they were planning to do.Brian left with a request for a data sheet for the flooring material, and a request for an installation date and an update on the status of the material already ordered. He did not get back to me. Now it's Monday, shortly after lunch, still no one has called back. So I called. No surprise Jennifer's number in addition to the 4 other numbers I've accumulated all went to voicemail. I called their main line and got someone, who promised that Jennifer would call me back after she got out of her meeting by 2pm. It is now quarter to 2...

Great selection, good prices. Sometimes a little hard to find someone to help you find what you're looking for.My main complaint is that the app (Android) is slow, very slow on my Internet connection. And buggy, sometimes, when it's slow.Especially the checkout process! And there are way too many, too slow cumbersome steps just to check out. They call it "instant checkout"!You would think they would be in a hurry to take my money!

Worst Home Depot in the US! The store manager will follow you around and stalk you! My wife and kid feel far from safe!

2 years ago I special ordered 4 appliances. They showed were in a warehouse. 1 item did not arrive and I was told I could not get a refund until it did. I had to go to the store to talk to the general manager to get my refund. Now, 2 years later I finally decided to go back to HD and ordered a compressor. Same thing, supposed to arrive on day X, a week later no one can find anything on it, but the automated system says it's in the store. I called corporate and they show it has been delivered. This Home Depot in Ypsilanti Mi. has no accountability, relies on a delivery process that is broken and they have nothing but excuses to the customer.
