I am extremely disgusted with h&r block.. I don't understand how people can claim children on their taxes when no paternity has been established.. I think that's all cases in which taxes are filed paternity should be established before a father can claim a child on taxes.. I'm sure this happens all the time.. but my boyfriend who signed my son's birth certificate without being a certain that he was the father is trying to claim my son on taxes when I disagree that he is the son's father.. just to get low income tax credits.. yet he is not being forced to claim taxes for the other two underage children in which his name is on the birth certificate yet no paternity was ever established for and he claimed them on his taxes for over 13 years yet suddenly stopped and now wants to use my son who also does not have opportunity established.. in this injuries women and single mothers who are raising children on low income from men who refuse to take responsibility and support children... I find it extremely disrespectful to women out there who work hard and pay taxes for children with no help from fathers out there.. and I find it extremely disgusting that men can claim a child on their taxes when no paternity has ever been established I thought we were in a more civilized day and age.. disgusted and..unheard voices everywhere agree..

This looks and feels like more of a pop up tax prep place (limited equipment/supplies, poorly staffed) as opposed to what H&R Block offices used to be like. I was surprised by that as I had seen the office from the street for years when I passed through the area. If your appointment is with Rachel Waite, I suggest you cancel and reschedule with anyone else. When I shared my concerns about Rachel with the assistant manager, she responded by saying, "I wish I could say I was surprised or that this is the first time I have heard these comments." I honestly could not have imagined a worse experience and it took more than 10 days to conclude. After this posted, I got a message meant to smooth things over with me by offering to do a free review of my return, but also disputing my comments and defending the person named above. No, thank you.

Been going to this HR block for years with my wife. She has had a difficult time filing at other tax prep companies due to her Native American heritage, though HR block has made this a breeze. They have free parking behind the building as well, off the busy main street.
