It's probably fine as long as you don't talk to the attendant. Whoever the guy was there was a gigantic jerk. I mean.. wow. He was really something. Small person, small world, holding on to what little power he has.

The older man at the gas station does not know what he is doing, I have 60 cents off per gallon and he gives me 3 cents off..Plus he doesn't know how to make eye contact with you cause he is playing with his phone.

I love this gas station. I have to drive some miles there to cash my Kroger points but even so, the price they sell gas is competitive when discounting 500+ points. For less than that there are other gas stations around that offer similar prices without the hassle.

The fuel center is a nice addition to the grocery store. Yet my only gripe is the convenience store part of the store seems to be lacking in selection.

There are always a lot of shoppers at this Kroger. I have to wonder, do they all hate their lives? Maybe they delight in being punished by high prices, empty shelves, a lack of available staff, and lighting that could put anyone into a foul mood. That's not even to mention the madness of the parking lot and its rutted parking spaces. The police surveillance tower does not make me feel more secure. It's not like this is a bad neighborhood. I'll gladly walk on the sidewalks up and down Carpenter. Maybe the shopping experience drives people to violence. I know the temptation. I shopped at this Kroger earlier today. Clearly my judgement was effected by some kind of misplaced optimism. I mean, I had shopped here before and vowed never to return. However, I was on this side of town, and there was one item I needed to pick up that I'm pretty sure only Kroger carries locally. Schar's Gluten Free Bread will be the death of me. It's not even for me. I love gluten. Give me the good stuff from a real bakery where everything is done from scratch. But someone in my family eats GF and this is the best bread we've found. What did I find? Not one loaf of the stuff. The section was cleared out. There was someone working in the bread aisle, so I asked for assistance. However, they did not work for the store. He was a vendor. So while he was the kindest, most polite, and contrite person I spoke with in the store, he was not actually able to help. "There was a Kroger employee here just a while ago. Maybe she went to the bathroom." I said I would return and check. The rest of the shop was a parade of frustrations. The price of Cheerio's at Kroger was higher than Whole Foods. However, there was a good sale, if you had the mobile app and a mobile coupon. There was even a handy dandy QR code to scan. But guess what? It didn't work. Gah! I bet this is Kafka's favorite grocery store. Eventually, I made it back to the bread aisle. Still nobody. So I was going to leave without the one thing I wanted. And then, the final kick in the nuts, just outrageously long lines. This was not prime shopping crunch time. This was a chill weekday outing after the lunch rush. Amazingly, someone opened up a new lane, and I scrambled quickly to snag the pole position to check out. Did they care about my shopping trip? Nope. At other stores, one might get a perfunctory, "Did you find everything okay today?" Nothing. Nada. And honestly, I don't know if I would say anything even if asked. The desperation of the folks who made it to the new line behind me was palpable. I did not want to test out if the security tower in the parking lot would keep me safe from their ire if I caused the checkout line to slow even a bit. If I'm smart, I'll never return. But I've said that before. Still, this experience is going to linger, and I don't hate my life nearly enough to put myself through this again any time soon.

Staff generally rude or passive-aggressive. Prices aren't great. Generally easy to get in & out; however, not always easy to get a spot at a pump.

Since I shop at Kroger I use the fuel points for my gas. I buy BP gas cards at 4x points and use them at my favorite BP station on WASHTENAW while I accumulate points for Kroger gas. Works for me! Gas card gets me the cash price!

Constantly so many items are out of stock. Consistently awful experience. Bottle return is always broken or gross, checkout lanes can hold like 2 items and there are never full checkout lanes open or long lines

Yikes, how do you mess up so much so badly at the deli? Let it be a lesson to check Yelp always first! The smell of fried chicken pulled me in- a day of running errands had left me spent n hungry...
