I’ve never been to this Kroger before but they constantly keep letting someone swipe my card and take money off of it. I don’t know if they have a scheme going on or what

Like a lot of grocery stores, they basically only have self checkout now, and that wouldn't necessarily be a huge deal, except that this Kroger's self checkout machines are garbage. Each item takes multiple swipes to scan, and every few items an automated alert will go off that requires an employee to come over and verify that you're not stealing before you can continue scanning. What would take two minutes at Fresh Thyme or Meijer somehow takes five minutes.
From the moment you walk through the cattle gate at the front door and past all the security cameras, it's clear that this store's only priority is loss prevention. In order to prevent theft at checkout, they could hire more employees, or they could buy better self checkout machines, but that would cost the store money. Instead, they shift that cost onto the customer, forcing us to subsidize their loss prevention with our time.

I'm gonna be honest with this one, it's not my thing to write bad reviews, but this location: has consistently been out of stock of basically everything I've needed for the past year I've stopped in, I've been given poor attitudes from the management (at least I presume they are, they don't really act like it other than dressing fancy and having a name tag), and it always seems perpetually understaffed. I'm going to spare my suspension and avoid the parking in their lot anyway, the potholes are ridiculous to really cap it off. There's a new Aldi around the corner though!

My stepdad forgot his wallet, and this super nice attendant named Katrina helped us,I went to the car, he got it working, and she said,"Didn't you have a son earlier?" She remembered me.

After checking my own $200 dollars worth of groceries out at the scan and go. The lady who works at it I couldn’t see her name tag rudely checked every item on my receipt thinking maybe I was stealing? I have no idea and then kept checking the camera system on the machine. After all of that I said thank you, she didn’t say one word back to me and pushed her way right past me very rudely. I would rethink who you hire.

I was over charged for Gatorade. I sat there for 5 mins while chenelle (black customer service manager), Amanda (white woman) and a woman from the bakery or deli gossiped. That’s crazy I had to sit there and wait while the talked about nothing. Then when it was my turn both of them had attitudes. You broads work at the customer service desk. It’s your job to interact with customers. I’m not talking to you because I think you attractive it’s because i need help from the customer service desk. They need to loose the attitudes it’s 9:30 a.m. go back home and take that attitude out on whoever gave it to you.

Very bad customer service and problem-solving. I just wanted the price that was on the shelf for the item I picked up. Broken refrigerators, spoiled product inside. I’ve l gotten food poisoning from items from this store. I did call about and nothing happened about that either

I really like this for and never really thought I had a problem with anyone I go and get my food and leave mind you I asked the woman at the counter about some whipped cream that I had not been able to find she told me where it was I paid for all of my groceries and proceeded to leave and go back inside to go get the whip cream now when I went to go get the whipped cream and a few other items that I had forgot to grab I was approached by the security guard asking me to see my receipt and if I paid for all my items and why I didn't leave the store after I pay for all my items I showed him my receipt and showed him the items that I was going to pay for and he instantly gave me my receipt back and ran off after I paid for the items that I initially forgot to grab the he approached me as I'm leaving saying I should write a complaint because I guess there's some woman working there having me followed no I don't know what made these people think I was stealing or why but I feel as though that was kind of messed up fix it

Moderate store in terms of other Kroger's. The way they treat their employees is weak in terms of other Kroger's. Will not pay full amount owed and then claim an invalid reason for they reason they don't. The Union representative for this store is also poor and does not respond or assist even though dues are paid out of check.
In summary, moderate store, seek out other Kroger's if looking for employment.
Edit: The self checkouts have many broken hand scanners making it not disability friendly.

I've been coming to this store 4 years now and the last couple of times that I've gone at night, I've seen this rude young girl named Madison. She stares at me the whole time I'm in self check out and gives me dirty looks. You don't know my health issues, nor are they any of your business. Just because I look young doesn't mean I'm not sick. It seemed she was looking at me like this because of me being in a amigo/scooter. And I've heard in the past some other of her co workers asking why I was in one. She needs to focus on smiling and being nicer to the customers. Some people's sickness are unseen/internal. I also called to voice my complaint and the phone rang for 15 minutes. Then I was hung up on, after I asked to speak to asst manager since the manager wasn't available. I called a second time and the phone rang for 6 minutes with no one picking up. Horrible customer service. The Kroger on Carpenter is so much better. Wish those employees were at this store.

This is by far the worst Kroger ever. They have horrible customer service. Their security guards are complete jerks and they just do not value their customers business here. Not to mention there has been mice seen running across the floor and a bunch of various issues. It’s because of this Kroger, that I refuse to give them any more of my money.
