I grew up in a small town where you could trust your mechanic to always look out for you; make sure I'm driving safe while not overcharging or performing maintainence so they can make a buck. I struggled to find that experience in Ann Arbor until I started taking my wheelchair accessible van to Mike at Mr. Muffler.
He is always responsive and will go out of his way to get you going that day even at the cost of him missing dinner with his family. On top of his responsive and positive attitude towards all his customers him and his team have a depth of knowledge to repair everything from my suspension to a full replacement of my engine and transmission.
I can't reccomend taking your vehicle and your family's vehicles to Mike at Mr. Muffler enough. I know I'm safe driving every day because I have a trusted mechanic who stands by his work and I feel comfortable taking my vehicle to him whenever I'm concerned over a problem because he treats me and all his customers with respect.
You rock Mike. Thank you for keeping me rocking and rolling!

I recently contacted this muffler shop to ask if they could install an aftermarket exhaust on my car. Unfortunately, the experience was pretty disappointing from the start. When I called, the person on the phone made it clear in a not-so-friendly tone that they didn’t really want to deal with installing aftermarket parts. He said he’d have to check with his manager but did so in a way that felt like I was inconveniencing him just by asking.
I tried to explain that the exhaust install was straightforward—about an hour of labor according to the manual—but instead of being helpful, he got even more dismissive. He basically said that even if it was a quick job, they’d charge me a lot more—something like $300 to $400—just because they had “bills to pay,” even though I never even brought up the cost at that point.
In short, the attitude was unwelcoming and it felt like they were more interested in overcharging than actually helping a customer out. I was just looking for a fair and straightforward service, and I didn’t get that here. I wouldn’t recommend them based on this experience.

I AM SO APPRECIATIVE OF THE STAFF AT THIS BUSINESS. I WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK. THEY DID AMAZING WORK QUICKLY WITH PROFFESSIONALISM! JUST INCASE YOU ALL DONT KNOW, THEY DO MORE THEN MUFFLERS. PRICES WERE VERY FAIR.

Thanks to Mike the manager. He fixed a minor muffler repair in less than 15 minutes for a reasonable price. He also gave me an estimate on my brakes which I'll be getting done here soon! Thank you!

This guy's charged me 350$ way too much money for a muffler fixture that took them like an hour I wouldn't recommend this place at all other spots around here charge around 200 or 160 I should've investigated first

Highly recommend! I came here for a second opinion and I am so grateful I did. Mr. Muffler provided great service and my car was ready in just a few hours. I will be returning for all future maintenance and repairs!

Fixed my exhaust system same day and for a really reasonable price. I was considering getting a second opinion. Then I met the owner and he crawled under my jeep and checked my muffler with me. But they quoted me $350 and it cost me a little under $400.

I had a great experience at Mr. Muffler! I brought in my motorcycle fender because there was a screw with a stripped head that I couldn’t remove. The guys took care of and had me back on the road in five minutes. They even managed to make the screw usable which saved me a trip to the hardware store. I will definitely be returning when I need work done on my car. Good honest mechanics!

Mike is great and his commitment to customer service shows, needed my alternator and electrical short fixed, he gave me a great price and finished it the same day.
Car repairs can suck but Mike had my back, can't recommend this shop enough!!
