Prospect Park is a large, open, and welcoming green space in the community. It offers a variety of amenities, including a playground, basketball court, pavilion, and skateboard park, catering to visitors of all ages. The park hosts community events, providing food, music, and activities such as face painting and free haircuts. While the historical cannon could use more interpretive signage, the park is generally well-maintained and enjoyed by families on a regular basis for recreational activities, from running and biking to simply taking a leisurely stroll.

It was wonderful. A large open expanse of rolling grass, children playing gently with parents and grandparents. Good playground equipment, a basketball court, comfy pavilion, and a skateboard park with a fence all around. Everyone welcome here.
