District 5 Schoolhouse is a unique and charming venue, beautifully historic with pretty features like chalkboards. The building is beautiful and well maintained, with lots of amenities, decorations, and options. The space is amazing for a moving party, with room for a dinner buffet, coffee cart, dessert table, appetizer bar, and seating for all guests. A walk-in cooler, large beverage cooler, kitchen sink, and long counter make for a great appetizer setup. The owner is beyond helpful and goes above and beyond to accommodate needs. Staff is helpful and fast, milling around and watching for ways to jump in. There is a TV in the side room to ensure everyone can see the bride and groom. The venue takes care of linens, tables, and chairs, so guests only need to decorate tables with finishing touches. The extra decorations from the borrow closet are a big savings. So much thought and care has been put into this beautiful piece of history to be shared with others. Highly recommend for weddings or events.

Sarah was awesome. She answered all of our questions beforehand, had a huge list of decorations you can choose from, helped us set up and tear down, made coffee, gave us utensils to borrow, and was overall so helpful. The venue is beautiful and spacious. Highly recommended for any event.

My daughter’s wedding was hosted here!! Sarah runs the place and she was incredible. If you need a cool, historic, fun location, mostly for a wedding but for other events…this is the place!

I'm an officiant for weddings, and I've had the opportunity to be at this venue a few times. It's so unique and charming. Great location too.
