In may I had my 3rd back surgery 7days later I had another surgery because of an infection I was discharged with a vacuum attached to my back and in a wheelchair barley able to move to heritage nursing & rehab where I was the youngest person there. It was beyond the most emotional and mentally the hardest experience of my 34 years of life. The staff and residents made the hardest time of my life the most memorable time of my life. From the moment I entered my new home for 1.5 months to my very last day they made me feel loved when I felt alone they knew if I was depressed because I missed my family and my life and made sure I knew I was loved and cared for. I am so grateful I was sent there if it wasn’t for them and their encouragement and love and believing in me that I could do it I would not be where I am now. I made amazing friends there even a Bestie and I still go visit when I can. Thank you heritage for all you did for me I will always be grateful for all of you. ?

The absolute worst place!!! They almost killed my mother by overdosing her with a medication I never approved. (State is involved)I had her rushed to the hospital and had her out of there as quickly as I could. The place is dirty, rooms and bathrooms are never cleaned. Dining room tables are never wiped off. They are always short staffed. If you love you loved one DO NOT SEND THEM HERE.

Heritage took care of my Mother the last 3 months of her life and 4 different times in the last 7 years for short term stays. Every time she stayed the nurses, administrators, therapists and aids did an excellent job of helping take care of her in whatever state she found herself!Thank you Heritage for all your patience, love and care over the years!

Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation is a gem in the heart of Zeeland. The staff work as a team with integrity, expertise, and tender loving care. They treat my mom so well - giving her the individualized care that she requires for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs. The love and care shown to her each day maximizes her quality of life which allows me to be at peace during this challenging season of life. I'm very thankful for Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation and would highly recommend this facility!

The admissions/marketing team is great to work with. Jason worked diligently to place our patient in a safe sub acute rehab facility. Thanks for the collaboration in placement and for making the patient's transition so smooth. Will definitely work with them again!

Working with the senior community in West Michigan I get to see a lot of different rehabilitation facilities. I am especially proud to know and recommend Jason and the team at Heritage. Living in Zeeland, I know first hand that they do all they can to make it seem a little more like home for their residents.

Heritage nursing home in Zeeland is a good place for rehabilitation and a good nursing home the staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome ? and they take care of your needs and are caring people and the physical therapy staff is great as well food is ok could be better and they do need more solid reliable staffing on second and 3rd shift especially on weekends but all in all not a bad place to be.

Heritage Nursing has the most amazing employees who really care for and nurture their patients. Heritage Nursing excels at making their patients feel comfortable in a home-away-away from home environment! The social services director has helped me out on numerous occasions to problem solve and help provide the best outcome for their patients.

Due to some very sad circumstances, one of my parents has had to go into a care facility. During the course of this health crisis journey my parent has been in several facilities since the end of July. Heritage has been the one that has felt most home like to me--and I hope to my father. The rooms are cozy and clean. The lighting is very adjustable to what is needed. The mattress of the bed is tailored to the needs of the patient-in this case someone with zero mobility. The food has been tailored to meet specific dietary needs and has been good quality while fitting what is needed.The staff is outstanding-even during these trying times with all the restrictions and rules in place due to the pandemic. My father is under hospice care and they work seamless with that team to make sure all my parent's needs are met.The day team-with Nurse Elise-do a great job-making sure my father is comfortable and safe.Fernando and Dawn have also done a great job helping my father.Tara and Maria have been absolutely fantastic in the care and attention they give my to father--the attention to detail and the personal care they provide to help him feel more like himself while in a care facility has been amazing and much appreciated.I know there are numerous other people that help in his care and I wish I knew everyone's names-so I could list them all. Outstanding facility and team!!

if you have to put your loved one here for rehab make sure you ask for Tara. she is one of the most loving caring and comforting nurses their, she spends time getting to know the patient and the family. we have had issues with my mom getting scared and nervous and I can sleep at night knowing Tara is their to help her. Tara you ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .

I have had family members in other places that were completely horrible. Heritage is clean and welcoming. It's a nice place with a home like feel and a friendly staff.
