Will never go to h and r block again, scheduled a time to have a professional file mine and my wife's taxes because I felt like turbotax had made a mistake. Get to my appointment and the lady working with us basically was trying to find ANY reason not to even get started on our taxes... Do not use! This was my first and last experience with H&R Block! I just found out my address was incorrect on the form they filed. If you can’t get something so basic as an address correct, you certainly can’t handle more complicated tax issues correctly!

If it was possible to give zero stars I would. This office is the most poorly run office I have ever seen. First off, their appointment scheduling makes zero sense. They scheduled me several different appointments in several different locations, all of which I didn't choose or schedule myself. I had some information I wanted to share with our "tax pro" before she started to make sure she had the correct information and asked for a call before she started. That call never came. I tried getting in touch with the office for 5 days. At one point I drove back to the office to talk with someone because they wouldn't call back or answer at their call center. The receptionist gave me the "direct line" and after I tried calling it at different times of the day on different days it was clear the line was disconnected and he gave me a bad number. We finally talked to the person filing our taxes and made an appointment to review everything today. Upon arrival (early for our appointment) we waited for our tax pro who ended up walking into the building at the exact time our appointment was due to start, therefore making our appointment start late because she couldn't be to work before that time to get set up. She also walked in wearing what looking like pajama pants. I certainly didn't have faith in her after that point. It was incredibly unprofessional. When she showed us our taxes she couldn't explain anything, and then told us we had to pay in this year. I knew something was wrong because she never asked for information about our 3 children so she didn't even have them in our federal return for the child tax credit. I refused to let her file our taxes and left. I came home and used a free website that was easy to manage, and I was able to file and rather than paying in almost 3,000 we are due to get a return. How this person can be called a "tax pro" and be considered an "expert" in this area when she couldn't file even the most simple of taxes is scary. Avoid the this office they all lack professionalism, and clearly they have no idea how to actually file taxes.

What a jokeI'm proud of what I do for a living and basic was told she doesn't believe I weld because my hands....like wow, how can someone so little informed can make such a comment is beyond meIf you feel like you're getting ripped off, your correct, couldn't tell me why I'm getting charged for the same form 2xI ask why are there 2 charges for the same child tax credit...answer that's just how it is..... what an answer ? ? ? ? ?
