Kurt at the Afton post office is very rude. I understand the strain they have this time of year. My question was why our mail gets delivered after 5 pm. the past 4 months when it was always early in the day? My husband has Parkinson’s and still likes to walk out for the mail, but has to cross the street and I worry about him getting hit. They do still deliver our neighbors mail two doors down early, but come back later to deliver ours. He asked “what what do you expect me to do” and hung up. I just wanted an answer or someone to look into why the route was changed.

As a small business that stops in several times a week, we absolutely LOVE this post office. They’re always so happy and helpful. As an Afton resident, we love supporting and using our town post office. Nicole took time to help us in the beginning of our business to establish how to ship and we haven’t looked back:)

Always extremely friendly and helpful. If all the post offices in the country were run like the Afton Post Office, it would be a much better place! Mike and Nicole are so helpful, especially with a temporary change of address matter I had with my Ft Myers, FL post office that has a Google 2.1 star review. Goes to show you how fortunate we are to live in Afton. It's a pleasure having to mail a package here!

By far the best service from any USPS location I have visited. They get to know their customers/clients by name and go above and beyond to help you. This small town post-office is an absolute gem and I wouldn't change a thing!

No problems with this place in my experience. Only been here a few times but if you need to do mail-related things, this is a good place to go.

I have moved a lot. I have had to utilize many different postal offices and services over the years in a variety of states and cities. Pleasant postal workers do exist and they are living and breathing right here in Afton, MN. They assisted me with my recent change of address and getting my mailbox ready for service. The carrier even knocked on my door and introduced himself. I am grateful to have a postal office that is customer service driven right in my small little dot on the map in the good old USA.
