Econo Lodge is a budget-friendly hotel offering basic accommodations with some mixed reviews. Guests appreciate the clean, comfortable beds and the availability of amenities like TV, wifi, microwave, vending machines, and ice machines. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, with some praising specific employees for their excellent customer service. The hotel is part of a larger property that includes another hotel, which can lead to some confusion. The breakfast at Econo Lodge is considered poor, especially compared to the neighboring Quality Inn, which offers a breakfast with eggs and meat at a higher cost. Some guests find the rates affordable and the rooms decent, making it a suitable choice for those needing a short or budget stay. However, experiences vary widely. Some guests report clean rooms and good service, while others describe the environment as dirty and poorly maintained. There are complaints about unpleasant odors, bugs, and stained carpets, with one guest mentioning the presence of bed bugs. The overall cleanliness and customer service quality have been criticized by some visitors. Additionally, amenities like the pool are not available, and there are suggestions for improvements such as outdoor seating for pets. Despite some positive notes, including helpful staff and decent food at the onsite restaurant, the hotel’s conditions and service quality significantly depend on individual experiences, with some guests feeling disappointed and dissatisfied.
Hallways and common area could use an update. My room, #129 was clean, no unpleasant odor, bed was comfortable.
