I've had enough, as of Monday I will no longer have this service. I have been working from home for 6 years.. LTD Broadband was great then. Now? It's garbage since its Gigfire. I'm so thankful we now have an actual dependable option here in Rural Iowa, yall got to go. Our internet has been dropping 1-2x an hour for weeks. I've called and the only thing fixed was the speed... still constantly drops.

I just happened to want to go through the reviews for see how gig fire even has 4.3 stars. First review i see is what i am having issues with and they posted it 2 weeks ago. ANOTHER OUTAGE. Seems like there is one every month that happens for a whole day or day and a half. It’s sunny out with zero clouds in the sky. I don’t know how much longer i will be willing to keep this internet. This is getting out of hand for the service we are paying for and not being able to use.

My service with the company gigfire bought out was great. Now it's crap, constant disconnect issues. Carlton county Minnesota needs to step up the rural fiber installation so we have options.

CONSTANT outages, which is something the salesman PROMISED wouldn't be an issue. The mesh system they gave me when everything was installed couldn't even get to the speed that I was told I would be receiving, so I had to get my OWN. Plus, even with my higher end equipment I STILL can't get the speeds I was promised. Currently looking for a new option. I've given this company long enough to get their ducks in a row and I can see that it's just not going to happen.

I have been working with them since it switched over from LTD. This summer my internet has been terrible at the campground and i have talked to Tech Support on weekends, on hold for a very long time and get nowhere. Have called during the week and still have not gotten a tech to call back. Again this past weekend I was to get a call, and nothing. Each time I call I have to explain it all. We need a new outside unit or have it moved - everyone around me has connection so I have to use theirs, while paying for mine. I truly am at the point of giving up.

I have had bad service all summer. They sent techs out and told me there is a work order to upgrade my service from the tower that was supposed to have been done over a month ago.
Terrible service ever since gigfire took over. Would not recommend

Off and on intermittent service, but honestly, much worse than the service received is the customer service anytime there might be an issue with the service. They will blame your routers (even when they were issued by LTD). They will blame your closeness to the router, and they will blame you distance being too far from the router. They will blame tree coverage, even though their tech said the signal was strong when they chose receiver placement. They will continually tell you everything looks good on their end, even though the service is almost non existent on the user end.
If you have any other options in a service provider, I highly recommend you choose another route.
I canceled service in July 2025, and in August 2025 they charged me $150 because they couldn't find their antenna that they installed! You're out of your mind. Awful internet service. Poor customer support while receiving poor service. Terrible after cancellation follow up service. The last time their tech was here he left a spool of cable at my property. I told them about that right after he left it, and asked them to return to get it. That was about a year ago and it's still at my property. Talk about a lazy company who thinks they can send an invoice for forgetting where they installed something!? On top of that, I requested to be notified of the appointment to get their equipment. No notification was given... They just said someone was there yesterday and couldn't find it. Yet, my cameras didn't see anyone at my property.
Stay away from this company!!!

Called about a outage,automated response was wait a hour if problem still persists then call back. Apologies calling back i wated 15 to talk to someone and he said it should be up in a day, when asked what problem was he said there was no tech note as to outage so I asked how do you know it ll be up in 24 hours if you actually don't why it's down. The answer to that was he was not sure if it would be up or not and that he would text me with update as soon a tech entered the cuase and estimated time to fix(heard the same thing 4 othe outages i called about) so confidence is running low for this company's customer service.

Have been trying to work with this company for years. I have been a customer since before the switch from LTD to Gigfire. Today was the last straw. Constant outages, speeds never hitting the speeds we are paying for. Our internet has been out for almost a week and nobody at gigfire support seems to care. Contacted them today asking for a refund for the previous month because we have been without internet for more days than we have had it and we paid for a whole month! They said nope, no refunds and didn't even offer a solution to fix my service. I said I'd like to cancel, they just told me they would contact me when they come to pick up their radio/dish equipment.
Do not waste your time and money on this company. Their installation techs are sloppy, customer service doesn't care about you, and they have constant outages. No internet is better than dumping money into this hole.

HORRIBLE!!!!! We have been without service for 2 weeks now We still have no answer when they will be out to fix our internet. Sent a tech out last week and needed to move the dish and has yet to be back to fix anything.
