Since Gigfire purchased Rural Comm wireless internet service in Southern Illinois, service is down more than up. The techs in MN don’t have a clue what they are doing to maintain this network. They must of done away with local techs in Farina IL that can maintain the local network. The techs on chat on Gigfire web site just give generic excuses and you can’t talk with the people that can maybe fix the problem. Rural Comm was finally getting the service reliable then sold to Gigfire, that ended reliable! Dishy is on its way!

Absolute worst internet company to service my area. Outages every other day. Constantly talking with tech support that does nothing to help. They say their network people are working on it, but weeks go by with no resolve and no contact from any sort of contact from anybody at the company. Our service has had constant interruptions for months at a time.

Our internet service took a dive and working from home we have to have reliable service. GigFire was very easy and user friendly to choose a package and set up installation; I was able to do the majority of it by text messages when I had a free minute throughout my day. Pricing is very reasonable for our needs and after initially telling me on 11/30 that it would be about a week and a half before the installation I got a call today (12/1) to schedule a day that ended up being three business days later (12/4)! If the internet service turns out to be as great as the customer service has been we will be very happy and would highly recommend to anyone!

Service and quality of product have gone down hill drastically in the past few months, after the switch from LTD Broadband to Gigfire. Speeds are no where close to what is being paid for and often times there is no internet at all. After several calls to tech support over 2 months, the service has continued to get worse.No real answers or timelines can be given, and when requesting to terminate service, the hidden fees started coming out. These were also never an issue under LTD Broadband.I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for rural internet service.

Rural broadband internet. Service speeds slower than dial up, but you pay for high speed. Former providers before buyout fixed issues, seems new management just ignores. I have to go to town to be able to do online work I should be able to do from home. Very frustrating!!!!!
