“This is a great bank. The only problem I had was when Amazon double charged me for an order. I called the number on the back of the debit card because Amazon refused to refund the money. The person on the phone helped me file a dispute, but all I had to do was go into my local bank and sign the papers. The personal banker told me that I should file a dispute with the credit card that I used second so Amazon would ship my order because Bell Bank's fraud department would decline the dispute. She did give me the routing number for the transaction to prove to Amazon that the bank did pay for the order, and they did in fact double charge me. So, I call Amazon and get that taken care of. I thought it was all fixed. Then I get an envelope in the mail from Bell Bank's fraud department saying that my dispute was approved, and the money will be back in my bank account. So, then I was refunded twice. I wish the personal banker would have just let me sign the dispute papers to begin with. It was embarrassing to me to call Amazon back and say that I was refunded twice, and I need to pay for the order again. It was finally straightened out after three months.”
