About Lakes Area Humane Society

Lakes Area Humane Society is a wonderful place and a great organization to find a cat or dog. It is a blessing to the community with high standards of care for the animals. The very caring and great staff are people who really care about the furbabies. The cost to adopt a pet is much more affordable than other options and comes with included extras. There is a trial adoption period. It is a highly recommended shelter for finding a lovely pet.

    Nice people, animals are taken care of and well loved!

    Good place. I adopted my baby from here. There is a week trial period to see if it is going to work out. He was doing the butt scooting, and since he was not legally mine, they took care of it. Very caring staff.

    Such a blessing to have a shelter in our community that has high standards of care for furbabies. Wish I could adopt all the kitties!
