“St. John’s Lutheran Church has truly become a special place for my family. One of my favorite traditions is the Wednesday Night Feast Services. Each week, families enjoy an amazing catered meal at a very reasonable price, it’s such a blessing not to have to think about supper midweek! After the meal, there’s a 30-minute worship service led entirely by the youth. The Youth Worship Team takes charge of the music, scripture readings, ushering, and even communion service. Watching them step up with such ownership and joy is inspiring. Sundays are equally wonderful. We attend the second service, which is contemporary and filled with uplifting music, while the first service offers a more traditional style. I love that the youth are often involved here too, serving as ushers or assisting with communion. The Joyful Jar is another highlight, kids collect a special offering for local ministries, and adults delight in waving their gifts for the children to add. It’s a beautiful way to teach generosity and community spirit. As a parent of a younger child, I especially appreciate that Sunday School takes place during the service. After the children’s sermon, the little ones head off to learn and return just in time for the offering. This allows me to focus on the message while knowing my child is engaged and still part of the worship fellowship. Beyond worship, St. John’s offers countless events, classes, and opportunities for all ages. The newly expanded space is stunning, warm, welcoming, and perfect for fellowship. I also love the casual, family-friendly atmosphere. Some come dressed up, others in jeans, and everyone feels at home. And let’s not forget the Coffee & Donut bar every Sunday! Grab a cup of coffee and bring it right into church. St. John’s Lutheran Church is more than a place of worship; it’s a vibrant community where faith, family, and fellowship come together beautifully. I’m so grateful to be part of it!”
