“I learned more in five minutes here than in an hour at a big box retailer. I was greeted upon walking in the door and I was able to ask questions about the composite lumbers to find a product that will be perfect and cool for our south facing front porch (keeps cool in direct sunlight). I was handed a bag and told to take as many samples as I like and given a card for follow-up cost estimates. I will be back - very pleased.”
“Great experience! Alliah was extremely helpful and answered all of my questions. I was looking for flooring for a rental property, and he gave me great recommendations based on my needs and budget. I really appreciated that he didn’t try to push the top-of-the-line products on me. He understood that I wanted something that looked nice, was durable, and stayed within my budget. In addition, he’s willing to meet with me over the weekend by appointment! I would definitely recommend this place!”
“Great company for deliveries! In and out with no delays. Yes, overnight parking is available. Unloading takes no more than 15 -20 minutes. Friendly staff and an easy overall experience. Highly recommended!”
“Absolutely impress, Dave at the front desk is so very helpful on selecting types of brick we use. Their selection is one of the best I've seen in Minnesota.”
“David Lee is Awesome! He is an amazing sales rep who goes above and beyond to make sure we are happy. He is quick to respond whenever we need anything. He has single handedly changed my opinion of Alside just because of the great service he provides.”
“I don't even know where to start. This is one of my favorite stores in the Twin Cities metro area. I sell a lot of homes in Eagan and surrounding communities. I tell all of my clients about this place. You can sac
very so much money and get g
high quality items and great prices. We have remodeled 3 homes and flipped them with items we bought here. If you are thinking about selling your home and you know you need to do some upgrades before you sell. Reach out to me for the top dollar fixes to maximize your profit. If you are thinking about. using a home let me show you how this amazing stor will save you money! Seriously they have windows, doors, Harwood floors, tile, cabi etc, fixtures, vanities, trim work, cabinets, appliances, bathtubs and so much more. Plus many of the items are unique and not things you will find in big box stores. Some of the staff have been there for 20+ years. They are all super kind and helpful. I truly can't say enough about how amazing this place truly is. You have to come see ir for yourself!!”
“I spoke with Alex today about our window project and he was super helpful and talked to me in depth about things I hadn't even considered. I can tell this company has a lot of integrity and employees seem to really know their stuff!”
“I worked with Jim on this project and although we were given machine that was minimally faulty at first, they made up for it and then some. I would be happy to work with this company again in the very near future.”
“We worked with Luis to help pick out our fireplace stone and he was fantastic! He was very friendly and helpful. They have a large variety of stone to choose from. I would highly recommend checking out White Cap and working with Luis!”
“Thank you for the opportunity, Builders First choice is a great place for employment and having been a temporary employee, i can say , this company has integrity.”
“They're always friendly and always get what I need. They even gave me a couple screws for free a couple years ago when I didn't have any small bills on me. I don't go anywhere else when I need any replacement screws, bolts, washers, etc. If they don't have it or can't get it, it doesn't exist.”
“I needed some help with a quartz bench installation on a shower project. Even though it was not one of their typical jobs, they were eager and happy to work with me. Incredibly prompt communication, helpful, knowledgeable. Couple back and forth emails to confirm the specifications of what I needed clearly indicated they cared about precision. In the end, got a great product. Absolutely coming back here for any finished stone product needs.”

“Had a fantastic experience with an unusual railing install project. I set up a meeting with Bob to come up with a plan to install a cable railing system on a flat roof, that is above a tuck under garage bump out patio. I am a contractor myself and was looking for the best way to install the railing and I was a bit stumped on the best way to go about the install. Bob came up with a brilliant idea of how to do the install properly. I couldn’t have been more happy with the way it came out. They also let me use one of their post templates and cable crimpers at no charge. The entire staff including Lisha was terrific to work with. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to work with them again.”
