I will never shop at a Home Depot after my experience with Diane yesterday and Christian today both mgmt. if you can imagine. I purchased a new home and will be buying all new major appliances for my new home and it won’t be with Home Depot. Both were incompetent, unhelpful and rude beyond anything I have ever dealt with. I hope Christian and Diane have to deal with people like they are and in the way I was yesterday and today. Neither one should be in mgmt positions, and by the looks of the reviews here this is a systemic problem in this store and the stock prices show a sign of an even bigger problem within this organization. Do better at vetting your employees Home Depot but especially Home Depot Apple Valley. You should be ashamed.

Adyn was great to talk to while we were on hold with Home Depot card services, he made sure to communicate with other customers that it may be a few minutes until he can help them. Keep up the good work!

I needed a miter saw and asked a Home Depot employee for help, but he seemed to hate his job. He begrudgingly answered my questions about the display info, but I later found out he was completely wrong about everything.
I bought the Ryobi saw, but after watching Ryobi's YouTube page, I realized the employee didn't even know the difference between a miter and bevel cut. He also couldn't help me find a Dremel piece for cutting ceramic. He had to Google it and that still wasn't enough for him to advise me on the right piece.
Next time I need helpful advice, I'll head to a smaller, locally owned hardware store. At least then I have a higher chance of speaking to someone that knows what they are talking about.
At least the checkout staff was very helpful and nice.

First of all, I had a bad experience with a salesperson in the paint area. I greeted him and he completely ignored me, he was more attentive to the conversation of his coworkers and left me with the word in my mouth. He walked away knowing I was the only customer at the time. I approached him again and asked if he could give me a color I wanted.. I tried to show him a picture on my phone and he said no, I can't help you with a picture of the phone, I told him can you give me an idea and he is like no I can not and walk oway again. I don't always like to bring up the racial issue but it was clear that he was a racist, which is strange because he is not a white man, What a shame because it was my favorite store but now I have to go to Menards

Terrible customer service from the older guys in the flooring area around 1pm. Did not get a chance to get names but there was two that were annoyed at me asking a question. As a vet of this fine country I don’t appreciate it whatsoever. I did get help from two younger employees that were happy to help. Kudos to them.

I've always been a Menards guy but since moving to Apple Valley Ive been converted to a Home Depot fan.
The app tells you exactly where to find everything which is a huge time saver.
First Saturday of every month they host a kids workshop.

Same crappy service that's been going on for years. Waited in millwork for 20 minutes while they called twice for people no one ever showed up. I left. I wish there was a Lowe's closer but they're 20 mi away.

Home Depot is my first choice for home improvements. Usually I am totally lost looking for stuff. But Home Depot have people who can help find stuff and give you advice. Plus I can bring my little dog in there for a walk in the store when I’m shopping. The staff actually like dogs!

Hi all, I'm sharing my bad experience with customer service and support from Apple Valley, MN Home Depot. I applied for their home improvement credit card and got a 10 K flooring project. Until that, everything went very well but after that wasn't good.
product was very late, bad product and too many in damages, thickness is deferent from each flooring wood, flooring wood are not enough at the end of the work. The Crew Teams cut and pasted from damaged flooring hardwood and messed up my 10K project. I've paying this bill for 6th months now and still have 18 months left. I complained to Home Depot Flooring to come inspect and advise on a solution, but instead of sending a generic person, they sent a crew team member who had completed this project to inspect. After that, I sent multiple emails and calls still no response from Home Depot. Thanks for your good service. I'm not going to finish anything with this 10k, I'll pay it within the next 18 months. Please, don't contact Home Depot for any more home improvement loans or projects.

The employees are very knowledgeable, and if they don't know how to answer something, they are quick to ask someone who does or look it up. My favorite thing about this store is that they are dog friendly!

The Assistant Manager at this store was super helpful when I stopped in to pick up some faucets even though she was obviously very busy because her phone kept ringing off the hook. Great customer service, I’d highly recommend shopping here for your home improvement needs! :)
