Thanks for wasting more than a few days total time on the phone of fiancés time and wasting our money with your “professional” professionals.
Be careful of filing with H&R Block. They might mess up your taxes, they wont admit any wrong doing, they might hang up on you multiple times have being transferred in a loop to try to get answers for why taxes are late. Won’t give a small refund back.

My tax professional, Kim Loan Nguyen, is the reason I continue to come back to H & R Block. She is an excellent tax professional. She is very thorough, and truly cares about you. She is very patient, and takes the time to make sure I understood my tax situation. She is very much sought after in this field, and I am so glad to have her as my tax professional. I highly recommend her if you use H & R Block.

TERRIBLE experience here today with Mark Gibson and the front desk employee. They told us we would be “taking advantage” by filing a child tax credit if we’re unemployed, even though it’s eligible for any low income families with no income. Extremely rude and discriminatory against low income moms! NEVER go to this location!

I am a 66 year old woman, and I've been around the block a few times.On one of the blocks, I learned how to prepare taxes. I did the work for 5 years for a tax consultant office.It's been a while since I've done taxes.I know that there have been several changes in the tax rules and laws.But one thing I'm sure about is that It doesn't take a whole month to prepare a CRP certificate/M1PR form.My first appointment was on July 8th to drop them off.I then was told to return on July 19th, and they were ready except their "copy machine" wasn't working. (I just saw a customer leave out the door with copies)So I was to pay now and I was to return on July 26 because that would be the next time they'd be back in the Apple Valley location, unless I wanted to drive to the Eagan location on the 24th to pick up my copies on Monday.I was fed up, so I called the H&R block customer complaint department on the 20th and were told that I needed to file a complaint. I didn't file a complaint, but I did set an appointment for July 22nd @ 12:45 at the Apple Valley location with another agent to pick up my copies.I arrived exactly at 12:45. ....entered, and sat down waiting for the other agent.Low and behold, who walks out?The agent who told me to return on the 26th... she was surprised to see me.She notified me that they were ready for me.She walked me to her cubicle, retrieved my forms, and walked me to the front... the phone rang, someone else answered and told her it was for her. Instead of putting them on hold and finishing with me, she Instead left me standing at the front desk, signing my taxes while she went back to her cubicle to talk on the phone. Listening to her in-depth conversation, I literally had to walk back and tell her that I have somewhere else to be...She said, oh? And said to the caller, "I'll call you back...It took her 1 minute to put my paperwork in an envelope... and say bye, have a nice day.I will not be back and still might file a complaint...for discriminatory service...

Other than the whole institutional thing that we HAVE to go through this complicated tax prep in this country, this local H&R Block got us in with a last-minute appointment. Our scheduled rep was running late, so another took us up, ran through all our paperwork and proper deductions, and made the process easy.
