The first time I went to pahls market was in 2016. My granddaughter played in an area filled with corn. It was a fun time. Later on I went there and the staff were and have been wonderful.

Absolute BEST place for a Christmas tree. The trees are beautiful and the selection is excellent, but the customer service is PHENOMENAL! Go see Dave, the manager, and they’ll take care of you!

We are appalled with Pahl's!! We bought an Autumn Blaze Maple tree on July 6th and planted it on the same day we brought it home. Since then, dark spots on the tree have multiplied and upon researching the cause, we learned the tree is infested with tar spot. We contacted Pahl's via their website/contact us page, to report this issue and per their request sent in numerous pictures of the diseased tree. Pahl's staff confirmed the tree has tar spot disease. Sadly, other than some email advise on how to rake up and remove leaves to prevent the disease from spreading further on this defective tree, Pahl's has not taken any accountability and has not offered any credit, and has not offered a refund. We paid full price for the tree. We have emailed the owner, Gary Pahl, directly with a complaint and he is ignoring the email. Based on this experience, we would not recommend buying from Pahl's. Please be aware they are not accountable when it comes to defective/diseased merchandise. It was not our goal to bring home any diseased specimen of a tree.07-28-2023 Update: After posting this review and much back and forth via email with various Pahl’s staff, we received a rather crude, unprofessional, offensive and completely inappropriate email from the business owner, who is a complete bully. His email has been reported and we are working with an appropriate authority to get this resolved.

Our Association will NOT consider this vendor for a very large 70 unit landscaping contract, per the unbelievable experience one of our residents has shared with us.

[email protected] You;Chris Kaufenberg Jack Pahl kiss my sweaty ass KAREN....you don't have a clue in life...... that tree will outlive you ....you said I have never responded....well now I am...people like you are a pain in the posterior for my people and just about everyone you come in contact with on a daily basis......are you really that miserable when you have to beret my people that work their tales off day in and day out.....I don't want you as a customer ....I don't need you as a customer......you are just miserable....read our warranty policy....then reread it so you understand the thing and then let me tell you a thing or two about a plant...only because I have been growing plants for 50 years.....any tree...any plant can come down with a fungus at any particular time of its life cycle.....if you are still reading this thing you might realize that a plant is somewhat like the human body....it has good days and bad days...it has veins and arteries that pump and nourish the plant through its life cycle.......if you drank everyday...which I am beginning to think that you might and if you don't you definitely make other people drink around you....you might realize that it is not beneficial for you. My guess is, is that you watered the tree so much after planting it that it incurred a fungus due to the wet roots for an extended period of time.....if you are still with me, it is like sitting in the bath tub for a long period of time and everything starts to shrivel up, when the plant does not have time to regenerate its oxygen, it starts to get suffocated out and that's when problems start to occur.........just here me out if you are still with me, because my guess is, is that you are gone because you can't take a person that can give you an honest answer....you tend to be the person that blames something on everyone else....let me pose a question to you? How long do you think this tree has already been living?.....WRONG answer....you see this tree is already 7-8 years old and low and behold it hasn't had any of the conditions that occurred since you bought it....now wait a minute....we have plenty of these trees here yet and they do not have anything that has occurred to your tree......so ask yourself a question? Do you think Baileys would sell us a tree like this......I don't think so......do you think Pahl's would sell anything defective?.....I don't think so.....I am the fifth generation in this business and I will tell you flat out we would not even think about selling something that is diseased, defective or unusable....I would not be able to sleep at night......However, after writing this note to you I will sleep like a log tonight.....you can tell the state, the feds, the FBI, CIA, NSA, or whomever you want and I do not care which pro-noun they use or nothing but please do not treat my people or anyone else like you have tr

The CSA has been super disappointing. It does not seem fresh and like they use it as a disposal for the items they can’t otherwise sell. For example, the zucchini we got was flabby/flexible instead of firm (two weeks in a row). Also they refrigerate the tomatoes so they lose all flavor. With a CSA, you hope to get items at peak freshness and get more unique & local varieties of produce than in the stores (heirloom tomatoes etc), but I’ve gotten better produce at Aldi. I like to assume good intentions, so maybe they are just trying to take on too much. I’ll be going with a smaller producer next season.

This place is huge. Perennials, annuals, statues, trees, and a bunny that likes the plants in section 4. Don't he afraid to ask for help these guys know their stuff!!!

Pahl’s is a great place to get high quality plants. They have an abundance of garden accessories and knowledgeable staff. Don’t forget to check out their CSA(one of the best in the Twin Cities)

Don’t know why they even bother offering a warranty on plants that don’t do well, they just give you grief for bringing in a dead plant that didn’t last. Patti was also extremely rude for someone working in marketing/customer service. Make the drive out to Gerten’s or Sailer’s Greenhouse in prior lake instead!

I absolutely love this place. I love stopping in just to look at and smell all the beautiful flowers. I do wish they had more nutrients and soils.

Items are way over priced. The day before I bought phlox from Gergen’s for half the money and 3 times bigger than Paul’s. Sad how a place started out so small a grew so big in the process forgot how they got there. Their patrons!!

Zero stars if I could. Wanted to by bypass the big names and go local for a large landscaping project. Purchased 1500 worth of plants from a Pahl's. One week ago. One shrub was dying and we were ready to plant and to lay mulch. I decided to bring it back so I could get a new plant in and not have to dig it up in new further. In my visit to exchange the shrub I shopped around and had another $200 worth of shrubs in my cart to purchase. When I reached check out the manager was called up. The manager decided it was appropriate in front of another worker and customers to treat me with condescension. Also not honoring the warranty for one $44.00 shrub. I walked out without the new plants or the plant I paid for already that was dead. Do not give Pahl's your business. I should have read other reviews. The way they treated me after spending this much in money in a two week period is appalling. I wish I have a picture to post of the faces the manager was making at me for this review!

I am a single, working mom to two active teenagers. Even with my very busy schedule, I found time each week to quickly look up easy and yummy recipes so that I could quickly prepare my weekly CSA produce. Everything about this CSA membership is a 10! The types of produce, the quality, the weekly emails about what is coming this week in your box along with recipes and neat stories, the events to pick extra produce (I attended both the green bean picking and also the sweet corn picking events - my daughter and I both followed your easy recipes to freeze these veggies and OMG we have been enjoying these all winter!), to the customer service (I had to call and email them a few times because I had a question about using my gift card and I asked about extra rhubarb - both situations the customer service was great), to even my experience in the Pahl's market. I could go on and on...but I highly recommend joining their CSA. My teenagers loved the quick and healthy meals (I buy chicken and fish and either bake it with the veggies or just toss them all together on the grill) and the amazing fruit but our favorite and the reason we are joining again this season is the green beans and sweet corn that we prepared and froze....fresh to quick cook to freeze and then cook when you want them....I will never buy frozen veggies at the grocery store again. Pahl's sweet corn stays firm and so sweet and yummy!
