Ordered a kitchen aid dishwasher in the apple valley mn store. They sent emails with tracking info, but never attempted to deliver it. We were home all day! Then rather than communicating any issues with us about it they, and nobody can say whom or why, canceled and refunded the charge. Customer care in the call center was completely useless and totally apathetic. She literally couldn't have cared less. Will never spend another cent at home depot.

Today was the final straw for me and this Home Depot store. Two months ago I went to the store for a "quick" purchase of 15' of Romex and a couple other things. It took 1/2 hour to acquire the $25 of wire. First to go to the aisle and find it locked up. Second to find a floor person. Third for him to find another store person with a key. Then I had to be escorted up front like a criminal to make the purchase. Forget any other shopping I wanted to do. Home Depot needs to target the thieves and quit worrying that you may offend them. They are stealing and you know who they are. Customers are what keep the doors open. Then today I went in for a garden hose at 5:00pm 8-28-23. The aisle with summer stuff....hoses, grass seed, fertilize, sprinklers etc was closed off because they were painting the ceiling. So had to find a store person who had to call another store person to escort me in there because they didn't move the product out. The paint fumes were extreme and my clothes were covered in paint dust. DO BLDG MAINTENANCE AFTER HOURS! From now on my local Ace Hardware will be my first stop.

Reserved a wood chipper for today (Saturday) 2 weeks ago, put down a $200 deposit, and arrange for friends to come over to help us with our project. An hour before we are due to pick it up we get an email that the tool is not in stock. So we call to find out whats going on only to be told that it was rented out yesterday evening at 7pm for a 24 hour reservation...with them knowing that we had a reservation at 10am the next day. Then they tell us the reservation isn't really a reservation at all, and that anyone can come in and rent the tool out whenever they want as long as it's in stock. What?!? If that's the case why do they have a $200 hold on my account? And why even bother with the whole reservation system at all? We are extremely frustrated with the situation and the entire waste of our time and our friends' time. What a dishonest way to do business!

We are putting in flooring. The only place that carries the flooring we need to match the rest of the house was Home Depot. The staff at Home Depot was great to get it ordered. They asked when we would like to pick it up, stating they could have it in two days. We gave them four. On the fourth day, no flooring. We were told it would be another four days. At the end of those four days, we were told two more. So, we started moving furniture and belongings out of the rooms. Guess what? It's been ten days since we ordered the flooring that they said could be picked up in two days and still no flooring and our house is in disarray because we had to get ready for our installer - not Home Depot - to put in the flooring. We paid in full upfront. And, as of yesterday, we are told they can't give us a date because it will only be available for pick up when the courier truck is full. It could be two days, it could be two months. Unbelievable, Home Depot - thank you for making life so easy with our home project!!

Home Depot Apple Valley failed not once, but twice at delivering and installing our washer and dryer we purchased weeks ago! The 1st time they took our old appliances away and then said the new ones wouldn't fit without even measuring. They called later to say that they actually would fit and were going to return in 4 days. We canceled our annual Christmas lights trip to be home today for the delivery and it was canceled without any notice. YOU CANCELED THE DELIVERY WITH NO NOTICE! Now we're told we have to wait 8 more days. You took our old washer and now we have nothing! And you're telling us 8 more days! How unprofessional are you guys. You're a huge company and you can't figure this out. How ridiculous. UPDATE- we have to wait nine more days to attempt delivery again! NINE MORE DAYS!

I ordered granite countertops on May 21st,paid in full and was told installing would be 6-8 weeks. The guy came and measured 6-27. I called back several times checking to see what was going on ,I was told my granite was in production being cut and my install date was 8-13. Original installing was supposed to be before 7-27 as I was going out of town and needed the work done before my guest came 8 -6. Three days before another install date of 8-30 received a phone call that my granite was sold to someone else and it had never been picked up and cut. Home Depot was rude,condescending and lacked any knowledge of an apology. I will NEVER purchase another thing from this store. Their customer service sucks and the installers are liars and lack the professionalism God gave a fly. Go elsewhere and pay a little more for ANYTHING before you give them your money. I have no photos to show because I never got what I paid for.

I went to get a quart of black paint, the women said that she could match up the paint I needed, The next day I brought a sample of the paint I needed and the paint desk put it in the machine to match it up, I choose the middle priced paint, they said it take 5 minutes so I walked around the paint department, when I went to check out it was about double the price, so I went back to the paint department and they said they didn't have that brand in stock so they upgraded to a more expensive paint without advising me . I paid for it and went home the next day I applied my mixed black paint and it was a total different color, it was gray and In which brought in a Black sample. I made another trip to Home Depot and they would not refund me for there errors cause the paint was already mixed, the gentleman said he can try to add some black to it, when he finished he showed me the results and it was still gray I said that to him, and he said I'm sorry that's all he can do. I am very disappointed. Not only that i received the wrong color but was not informed that they upgraded to a more expensive paint, before mixing it now I have a mixed quart of paint that I can not use!!

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service in regards to removing an old appliance after purchasing a new one. We had a new stove delivered and were unable to release the old one because an insurance adjuster had to inspect it. We were assured there would be no problem having the old one removed. Two weeks later we called and set up a pickup date and time, within a four hour window. The movers did not call the night before as we were told so we called and after some fumbling around we were assured they would come and call before arrival. Sensing a problem I called this morning to reconfirm. Again, after fumbling around we were assured the stove would be picked up today between 8-12. At noon, no one has called and the stove has not been picked up. I'm now on hold going on 30 minutes while they try to figure out what is going on. THESE PEOPLE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS GOING ON. Never never again will I buy an appliance from Home Depot. I've always had good luck with my purchases at Home Depot including carpet installation and tool and supply purchases. Whoever is in charge of their appliance delivery and removal should be fired. Their system is irreparably broken. Still on hold 35 minutes.... Well, after an hour and a half the issue was kicked upstairs and the best they can do is to pick it up two weeks from now. Be forewarned. Do not expect delivery or removal service to go smoothly.

This Home Depot doesn't check their equipment before renting it. They were vague about reservations and hard to get info over the phone. When we arrived we asked for the employee to start the machine first before we would take it and the motor was locked up. Don't rely on this store for anything time critical.

We bought carpet and pad from them for our lower level of our home. It was installed on February 12th of this year. I notified them in early March that when I walk on it, it makes a crunchy kind of sound. I've spoken to a couple of supervisors over time and they say they will get back to me. Doesn't happen.
