My husband had surgery on Friday. His prescriptions were sent to Walgreens in Apple valley to be filled on Friday. Walgreens closed at 6pm, they told me they couldn’t fill them as they were about to close and it was 5:40pm. We explained that he needed at the very least, pain meds, but they said all his prescriptions would be ready when they opened the following day. I arrived at 1:30pm Saturday and they had nothing ready. As it was there was a huge line of people waiting to be helped. Did you know you cannot use their drive through either. Will never ever use them again. They just have the poorest customer service ever.

They told me my prescription was in stock, and I ended up getting there, just to tell me they didn't have my prescription, I wasted my gas, so they could tell me that, and the staff was very rude , worst Walgreens ever. From all the reviews looks like a manager needs to get better people working there. I don't usually write bad reviews.

Just sat in line on the second row of the pharmacy drive thru that said open at pharmacy drive thru and had 2 cars to my left waited 15 min it then was after 6- called phone 5 times continued to sit watch another car pull into the other lane and proceeded to watch the pharmacy give every one of those cars prescriptions until 6:17— then no one would still answer me called the store and was told they cut off at 6- I said I sat and watched the pharmacy give 3 cars one that came AFTER ME their prescriptions and he said no they cut off at 6 I wish I would have taken a video- manager says sorry just come back tommorow at 9a- right when I have to be at work… ugh this place is AWFUL TRANSFERRING IT ALL TOMORROW TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND you always always wait forever even during regular hours highly DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! - negative 🌟 stars 👎👎

This Walgreens is the last place you want to get your prescription filled. It’s possibly the worst Walgreens in Minnesota, if not in all of Dakota County. The pharmacy service is terrible. If zero stars were an option, that’s what I would give them. Avoid this Walgreens at all costs. The pharmacy staff seems clueless and completely unprofessional

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve had to make 3 separate trips in an 8.5 hour span of time for a prescription for my toddler and each time they say “come back in 20 minutes”. I’ve given them literal hours between visits and I still do not have the prescription. Absolute garbage customer experience. With a dozen other options nearby I won’t be back.

Just went into this Walgreens late 30 mins before closing time to print some photos.
Ahmed and the big unjolly staff leader (don’t know his name!) both treated me very kindly, however big unjolly overnight staff leader (Christopher maybe?) was being a total jerk to Ahmed who was very kindly helping me out and answering questions best he could. Makes me Extremly upset given I work in customer service and as a team leader, being entitled to your staff and rude directly infront of customers is a HUGE no no. Genuinely made me upset and I made sure to tell Ahmed that he was doing a great job.
Pick better staff team leaders walgreens! Yikes!

I just sat in the pick up line for 45 minutes. I expected a wait but not because they would take two cars for every one in the lane I was in. Then I get to the window and they tell me that my prescription was put back on the shelf as I didn’t pick it up on time. I have a voice mail from yesterday that states it was ready and I had until Jan 11th to pick it up. I had left but then came back thinking he just made a mistake. When I referenced the voice mail - he told me to ignore the calls they aren’t right. How am I supposed to know when it is ready if I ignore the calls??? He didn’t have an answer on that.

I am surprised the average is 2 stars. Sick with covid and waiting for paxlovid prescription- advised by doctor to start ASAP. More than 24 hours later it still is not ready. Tried contacting by phone- on wait 8 minutes & then a message they were experiencing a problem and to call back. Called back....lunch time. Tried 3 x after- first time got a message I was second in line- waited 5 minutes-and the line went dead. Called again and was on hold 25 minutes & could not wait any longer- called back - on hold 8 minutes and it hung up on me the third time. I am new to the area- they are not geting my business ever again

On hold for three hours for the pharmacy. Save yourself some time and frustration. Find a different pharmacy because they honestly do not care.

Called the pharmacy at 8:30 PM and an hour 10 or so minutes later… A big fat nothing they close at 10 they sat and let me sit on hold that long. I tried to call back on another line and then there was three callers waiting bullshit. The worst Pharmacy customer service they should be reported for letting people sit online that need prescriptions for that long, it’s disgusting. What a horrible pharmacy.

Good, helpful workers but pharmacy is badly understaffed. Expect a long wait even if you have an appointment. Didn't bother trying to call on the phone

Terrible customer service, the pharmacy is a joke and they will reject your new insurance even though it works at every other pharmacy I’ve been too. No wonder this place is going bankrupt

If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars, I would.
We paid out-of-pocket for a medication Because a different pharmacy filled the medication and gave us someone else’s prescription. Anyway, we paid out-of-pocket, and then the other pharmacy reverse the claim so that this pharmacy could process the claim. I called this pharmacy to tell them that the other pharmacy took the claim out so I asked them to please rerun it and we would come in and get a refund. I also asked them to fill my son’s compound medication. They said it would be done by the next day between two and four . I called the next day to see if it was ready and they said no not yet so the following day I sent my husband in to get the medication and also get the refund for the other medication that we paid out of pocket for, but was now paid for by insurance. The pharmacist told my husband that the prescription was already processed and not to worry it was done. There was no refund on his card. We were also told that the medication still was not ready. When he got home with no prescription and no refund, I called the pharmacy to see what was going on. He said that someone needed to come in with the receipt and the credit card in order to get a refund even though my husband was just there and spoke with him and had all of that information. He was told that it was already processed, and it was fine. he said the Medication was filled and it was somewhere. Well, we just drove 35 minutes to get there and when we were there, it wasn’t filled. This man goes on to tell us that we are liars and hangs up on us. Check the cameras. Husband was there in a red shirt in a red car and was there to have a refund and pick up a medication. We will never be back to this pharmacy. Now we have to call Edina and have them fill this compounded medication for our son who is now out of medication.
