“This place is the absolute best!! The staff are honest, friendly, and kind. I was passing through town with my family when the truck's check engine light came on, right before heading further west into a deserted area. I called Asa and they immediately worked us in, despite it being their busy season, and they ran diagnostics for us. They let us know that the error code was minor and we could proceed with our trip with full peace of mind. If we lived in the area I would use them 100% of the time!”
“Dave and Matt did a great job with my grandfather's recent fender bender and my recent major deep ditch incident! Negotiated with insurance for me, stayed on/ahead of schedule, and explained the things a "novice accidentee" wouldn't think of! My car looked happy and beautiful at pickup. When I get compliments on my car from strangers, they can't believe it sustained $8,000 in body damage! When you guesstimate how much body damage has happened, remember to expect triple that, because it doesn't take much damage to rack up a huge reconstruction bill!”
“Honesty, integrity, and fair prices, did I mention friendly. My rear window was all distorted from the window tinting. I was going to have the glass replaced today. Northstar called and informed me this morning that the tinting came off in one piece. After a reputable tinting place in Rochester said it could not be done. I am so grateful to you guys. I get all my car repairs done at Southwest Auto. I haven't had anything done at the Tranny Shop but they manage that as well.

“These guys are the ones to get parts from in town. I'm a auto shop manager in Rochester, MN and was doing some side work on a family vehicle on a Saturday and had the wrong parts I purchased with another auto parts house. That place I called back and told me that's the only part they show and couldn't help me and basically gave up. This vehicle had a mid year change with parts so made looking up parts more difficult.These guys here were very friendly during the whole phone call, even went in the back and pulled parts and physically measured them and told me the specs over the phone so I knew 100% my parts were right this time. Most friendly staff and actually seemed like they wanted my business. I will continue to come for all my parts in the future. Thanks guys!!!”

“I was involved in a hit-and-run that didn’t total my car but did make it unable to be driven due to the wheel well and fender pressing into my tire. The Muffler Center was suggested, they were able to get me in first thing in the morning, and I was in and out within an hour and a half with a car I can drive. Very reasonably priced, friendly, great service, and even offered a ride if I didn’t want to wait in the shop. Highly recommend.”
