I came at 4:50 on a Thursday night on July 4th. There was no fresh chicken. My husband had asked them the kitchen staff when was this chicken put out they said thirty minutes ago. It was indeed way way older it was dry as hell and old. Even had an after taste. So I came into the store and ask the people in here myself when they would be putting out new chicken. The guy from the front went into the back and asked they many young laddies in the kitchen when would they have any fresh chicken. They young laddies all had attitudes and told him to tell me to grab some that’s already out. Which I took a picture of and it was the same chicken my husband has just gotten that was nasty and dried out. I found their comments to be rude. They wouldn’t feed their dogs that so why a paying customer. And say rude things in front of a customer is crazy it shows they type of people they are hiring here. I was able to hear every snarky comment and giggle. So i waited the 30 minutes for three tenders and they weren’t even fresh it’s like they dropped them just to let them sit and make me wait longer because they didn’t like that I was asking them for the bare minimum. So once I had gotten the chicken it was warm damn near cold which I felt it was done on purpose the girls were again laughing and they even had a young man bring it to me while they watched from the door. At that point I just paid for it and went back to my truck I don’t trust that they had good intentions and I feel as though those young ladies need to be trained properly and held accountable. Overall bad experience I truck drive and come very often but I won’t be back here again. Out of money for two orders of chicken very sad! I could really write a book on my experience here felt like I was back in high school again. I would say to anyone come in the morning with the older people working they tend to care more and have more pride in their work.

First time I wasn't happy with a Kwik trip. Staff are friendly. The shower was okay. Could use a deep cleaning for sure. Wire ties holder Shower wand in place (Shower#1). Looks a little junkie. Fried chicken should have been pulled hours ago. It was overcooked and dried out. (I was there at 9:30pm) The parking lot is set up nicely for semi truck parking. With that being said, there were several dropped trailers. Which I can deal with mostly. But the one thing that really upsets me. Non-commercial (personal cars) vehicles parked in tractor trailer spots. It's already a battle to find parking for us truck drivers. But it's a complete insult when you allow personal cars to take up those limited spots. There were four cars parked in four semi spots. I had to park creatively. Because of this, I will only be staying for a short 3 hrs. Not my 10. Kwik trip you can and should do better.

We’ve eaten at Kwik Trip’s before and usually have an ok experience (it’s gas station food after all). However, instead of getting the chicken fingers like normal I grabbed a couple of sandwiches plus a small container of Mac and cheese (my personal store favorite). Upon opening the Mac and cheese (not pictured) I could see it was separated. Basically there was a watery substance at the bottom of the container with the macaroni part being swelled up like it was originally overcooked, then dried out and got pasty. After I mixed it up, it was edible- although not as good as it usually is. I ate it before anything else because I was hungry.
The sandwiches were subpar as well. It seemed as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp all day. The spicy chicken sandwich was the only one of the two that had any flavor, but the texture was kind of rubbery. The other one - the “crispy” chicken sandwich wasn’t crispy at all and had no flavor.
I get that this food is meant to be a convenience; however, if the food doesn’t age well under a heat lamp maybe reconsider the recipe or ditch the food product from the lineup altogether. Even better, maybe it’s time Kwik Trip focuses on improving their current stores rather than building more locations.

(Update five people working and no one can change the soda the code red )The last couple times I went here the fountain pop that I wanted was out and I asked someone if they could replace it and they just Shrugged their shoulders and not been helpful like they used to be

One of the best truck stops I've ever been to. Tons of good food for cheap, huge variety of snacks and drinks, plenty of parking for the area, clean, friendly staff and several of them to keep things moving quick. They stay stocked up too so never worry about not having food. Plus it's only 5 minutes from the Hormel plant so if that's your stop the place is perfect. Wish more stops actually put in effort like this.

Came in at 22:30 there was not hot and was told that their kitchen equipment is down and their is nothing they can to to cook any food and as a diabetic now unable to eat the Kwik Trip is now on my do not stop at place
