I recently purchased a pickup that developed some engine and transmission related problems. These guys were able to quickly pinpoint all the critical repair issues and explain the options to repair it. If you are looking for a reputable auto shop, do not hesitate to call The Muffler Center.

I would recommend these guys to anyone! Mitch was very open and honest when he told me what all I needed done to my car. He explained everything in detail and did not treat me like, “a women not knowing anything about vehicles.” He also told me what I needed to do now versus what I could wait on. Mitch gave me a quote and it ended up being the lowest quote he gave me! I got my work done right away and my car runs better than ever! These guys really know what their doing and treat you with respect! I will be back!

My car had been running a bit rough, then the check engine light came on. All codes looked like a new catalytic converter, around $700 plus labor.
Figured I would take it to the expert for this, sure glad I did. First thing he told me to stop running the E85 gas. Well that turned off the check engine light. Next we changed original spark plugs in a 2014 equinox with 145,000 miles... yep that made a difference. Then we ran some cleaners through the system. I am no longer doing an oil change every oil change!!!. No catalytic converter needed, and saved me money.
Would recommend these guys all day long.

We were on a trip from Oklahoma to Minnesota when the apparently more rusty than I knew tailpipe broke on our Chinook RV. No one in Albert Lea would help us so I called The Muffler Center in Austin as they were the next town on our route to Millville. They got us in as soon as the truck that was on their new 15,000lb lift was done. The owner worked on our RV because all of his guys were busy on vehicles that had appointments. They set me up with a complete new Walker muffler, a custom bent tailpipe, and even dressed it up with a nice stainless tip. All for a reasonable price. This was all at a moments notice on Friday July 12th 2024. Five stars.
