We were traveling across country and had a problem with our camper. Stopped here because it was the nearest mechanic, and the guys helped us with our problem free of charge, and set us back on our way! They were super friendly and sympathetic, and we sure were lucky they were there when we needed them.

An honest business with integrity, and fair prices.
In the last couple of months I've had 2 GREAT experiences here. My initial visit came after another business quoted me almost $1k for a number of things they said were wrong. South Main found no issues other than a loose bolt that they tightened, and refused to charge me more than a just little for the mechanics time. They could have easily just done all the work the other business had said for the money, and I wouldn't have known any different.
My second visit, again they got me in very promptly, and didn't do more than was actually needed.
I highly, highly recommend them!

Five stars for Ryan and South Main. Last time I was there I needed a rear differential replaced. I thought it involved replacing a small part. However, the mechanic actually bothered to take me into the garage and show me what he was fixing. Made a big difference; I understood why I was paying what I was paying, the value they were bringing to my car. Ryan and his guys do great work and they never try to upsell you.

Great customer service here, had several issues pop up with my car and not only did they quote me lower than the other shops in town, they also managed to get it done within a day so I was able to continue to go to work.
Highly recommend these guys for all your needs!

My sister recommended me to come here to get my car fixed.Last month came in to get my car fixed to get new spark plugs Spoke to a very respectful,cool guy forgot the name but him and his crew did a great job.the repair was quick and fast.Will be coming here for now to keep up maintenance for my vehicle!

I pick South main out of three auto shops. I went to South Main Auto, to get me a oil change. I noticed that it was leaking. After checking I found out that my oil wasn't changed. I'm going back down to South main Auto today 4/19. I will leave another review afterwards so it cannot be disputed. It's 2:58 on the 19th. When you picked up my vehicle they're trying to tell me that this stuff happens after you fix and change my oil then it just happened to go out one day afterwards. If you don't believe in South main is a rip off. Maybe if you're a white male coming in there. If you're a female you're going to get taken.

Brought my car in to get a oil change, and my threads ended up being ripped out. tried to charge $400 for a oil pan when I can get one for $80 and knock the job out myself. I also asked if they could tighten my spark plugs because it’s a common issue with these cars they didn’t end up doing it I had to myself and started running terribly once I got it back and when I got under the hood, I saw that my throttle body was messed with and when I tightened it ran how it did before I brought it to the shop.
