Had our credit card stolen and cancelled. Forgot it was connect to this acct so I missed a payment. No big deal, I’ll take care of it when I get the new card a few days later. However, my issue is with the amount of times they call in 1 day to harass you for payment. Literally 3 times daily. Are you kidding?! And of course half of those calls are automated. It’s rarely a human on the other end. Then when you call back, it’s hoops trying to talk to anyone.
And spectrum - don’t reply with your generic “I’m sorry you had a bad experience. You can contact us at xyz for help…” like the rest of your responses. Clearly you don’t care about actually fixing things based on the rest of your reviews.

I had a terrible experience with Spectrum Internet. After canceling my service, they charged me prematurely to take an extra $100. When I contacted customer service, they were unhelpful and refused to fix the issue. To make matters worse, they sent the remaining balance to collections, despite my cancellation. This is the most unethical service I’ve ever dealt with.
The billing practices are deceptive, and customer service is a joke. I will never return to Spectrum and strongly advise others to avoid them at all costs. If I could give them zero stars, I would. They care more about scamming customers than providing good service.

If I could give 0 stars I would. God forbid you want to cancel. Paying customers who want to cancel should be able to make that choice without their predatory actions trying to keep you. Trust me if we are calling and interacting with you weve already done all the research we need to do. In this day and age we dont want to talk to people if we dont have to. And for the love of God if you are married make sure your spouse has account access because that was a run around too.

Horrible Service, once they sell you on their product the support is an absolute joke. I had a concern ignored twice in the same conversation.

Had internet with another company. It went down and I had a repair tech scheduled twice to fix it. Both appointments were canceled because the tech couldn't get here. I had waited all day both days.
On Sunday we went to Spectrum. On Monday (a holiday no less) we had internet service through Spectrum.
I highly recommend Spectrum.
We also transferred one phone to them and plan to transfer another when it is paid off.

Never in my life have I suffered the unfortunate fate of having a more unreliable, garbage, and all around awful ISP than Spectrum. And I was with Comcast for a LONG time. This past week alone has had each day with at least 3 instances of hour long outages. Each call is met with a hired off call center than has no clue, can't help, and no options. Not once have I ever received the speeds I paid for. Thank whatever higher power that there is now another ISP in our area, because as much as I would like to say I'm "jumping ship", I've been in the water drowning for far too long with the anchor of Spectrum tied around my ankle.If a spectrum employee reads this I hope genuinely, from the bottom of my heart, your boss has a terrible day.
