The YMCA at ACRC is a facility that suits all age groups, with lots of fun activities and opportunities. Its primary features include a swimming area with a neat but small pool, a kiddie pool, a lazy river, a slide, and a lap pool. There is also a hot tub, a sauna, and a gym with two basketball courts, a weight room, and a walking track. There is a small indoor playground and a free play area available. Many find it great for staying active all year, with a sense of community where people feel welcome. However, some long-term members note that maintenance is poor, with the men's locker room and sauna not cleaned enough. The hot tub is sometimes not hot, pool hours are sporadic, and gym rules are not always enforced by staff.
Was in town for the weekend and this Y is really great! Huge facility with many programs available and the gym equipment is in good condition. The Y is child friendly and I like how the adults and youth have separate locker rooms. Sauna and pool are a plus!
