Great cafe. Always get my food within 5-10 minutes. Pictured is the country fried steak. Comes with hefty portion of hashbrowns, eggs, and plenty of highly delicious toast! No price gouging here, either. Very affordable prices ($7-12 per plate)

Small Rural Corner store to get gas, fishing bait, guns, and food. As a gunsmith of course my favorite part was the Gun shop he even had a gun that was in this year's shot show. Restaurant side waited a long time to get order taken but I only seen one waiter. Food came in a reasonable time after ordered. The key is to arrive early for fast service if you are a late sleeper you are going to be waiting. Everyone in there was polite and overall good atmosphere.

I look forward to going to northern Minnesota and stopping by the Café for a hot beef sandwich with the best gravy you will ever taste. This is a must stop for every trip with large portions of great home style cooked breakfasts and lunches, good service. The café is shared with a bait shop and works for me but might not for others, stop in its worth it.

My parents used to take me here almost every weekend growing up. We sold our cabin a few years ago, but I had the pleasure of stopping in for breakfast this past fall. The pancakes are still just how I remember: bigger than the plate and your head — topped with strawberries. The biscuits are gravy were perfect on a cold morning.

Second time up here. 1st time Great!! 2nd not so much. Food was good, with all the people in the kitchen and all the tables that needed to be cleaned up, waitresses running not sure really what to do. Restroom needs service, I saw 3 people tell them and no one took care of it..will come back could have been an off day.

First time here in a very long time. Actually thought it was closed! Based on other good reviews, we gave it another try. Food was good, not stellar. My husband tried the biscuits and gravy. The sausage was tasty but two large patties is more than anyone needs. Toast was homemade bread and that WAS stellar! Eggs were fresh and cooked perfectly to order.Service was attentive until a bunch of large groups came in wanting to be seated together. The three women working were running trying to accommodate, which left those of us already there to fend for ourselves, but understandable. They were working very hard.We will be back.
