We didn't stay, although a friend did stay there. It is tucked back corner of Backus which makes this gem very private and quiet.

We had a fantastic time!!!!! Beautiful place to stay… We took the pontoon out and caught the most fish ever. Very quite and peaceful. Absolutely love staying here come back year after year… Definitely would recommend to anyone… and WILL BE BACK…

Clean rooms, friendly proprietors, and the fishing was great... tons of nice northern pike and limits of fat sunfish!!

I had a clogged toliet for 5 days; but the owner decided to take off on a road trip anyhow. Never once apologized but may e thought i should accept it. Came in my place without notice while i was at work and shut down small heater totally and i was left to sleep in 40 degree nights without heat as he never thought to come in and reset pilot so i coukd have heat this is all for now as i have to make this true and clear. Definetely not a place i would give any rating without a minus in front of! Not a place for a union worker!!!

I absolutely love the resort. Jack the owner is so kind! He saw me tip my Kayak over and he left his work to help. The fishing is good. The wildlife is amazing. There is not any WiFi or cable but if you are looking to get away and enjoy life then this is where you should go!!! I 10000% recommend mountain view!
