“For several years, we've been renting houses from Bayview. They are always well organized, move their houses regularly, provide maps, maintain a warm restroom, and stop out to check on you. Nothing fancy, just a well run business.”

“Absolutely amazing people. The bar is beautiful and inviting to be in, great food. The cottage that we stayed at was awesome, big open and spacious. They put us on great fishing( given the weather cooperates in there favor as all fishing). I would highly suggest staying there if you want to relax and have a great time. I'd definitely come back!”
“Just returned from our third trip to Border View Lodge in the last year. We used to go to Sportsman’s and long ago Adrian's. We still like Sportsman’s, but found the cabins, water, bar/restaurant, and the ability to drive ourselves to our fish house and heated outhouses nicer at Border View.Fishing is great. Guides are super helpful. The restaurant and bar is terrific. Cabins are very comfortable. The whole staff is excellent.I'm not sure what the reviewers were talking about "being only a number" because we received 1:1 attention and in only three days of fishing we were on a first name basis with everyone at Border View. As a woman who Loves good ice fishing, I love Border View Lodge.Nearby activities: Fishing!”

“Layover during drive to Canada. Walking distance to downtown and very close to border crossing. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Would stay again if in the area.”

“We stayed one night at the Walleye Inn. The building is definitely older, but very clean.The free breakfast was the standard cereals, fruits, and baked goods. The common eating area is modern and well kept.The staff is friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.”

“Nearby activities: We were up over the new year, the lake was sketchy at best, the folks running this place took every effort to make sure the ice was safe. We had to move on the next day after catching a great day of pulling walleyes and saugers up. The guides around here are top notch.”
