Staff at all levels are friendly and helpful. Dr. Steve is knowledgeable, caring, and takes the time to get to know and understand your pet. Staff are also available to respond to any between visit issues or concerns if they arise. This place is top-notch and we would highly recommend to anyone seeking vet services.

Katrina groomed my dog for the first time and did and amazing job! She is also so caring and wonderful with animals. I would highly recommend her! The clinic is so friendly, professional and clean!

I called to get my dog in for a leg injury, and you got us in the same day! Thanks to all of you, my sweet baby girl is now resting comfortably with pain medication and I don't have to worry going into the long holiday weekend. Thank you so very much!

I have been coming to Animal Care Center for many years and they have always been extremely helpful and attentive to my pet needs and Dr. Sawyer is a wonderful and compassionate Veterinarian and I would highly recommend this clinic. All the staff are kind and very attentive to you and your pets.

Our Mattie was sick after we arrived in Nissau the Care center got us right in. Great service very very good vet. Started on medications and was feeling so much better before we left for home in the twin cities. I would definitely use them if I lived there and anytime we are in the area!

Very compassionate vet. My pet was in trouble, and we drove 90 minutes to bring him in. Unfortunately he didn't make it, but they helped make our hardest decision with grace and compassion. Thanks for serving our pet well.

Animal Care Center in Baxter is not the place for you and your fur babies!Yesterday was the second time I brought my cat in to be looked at here, and the vet (Dr. Bremer) advised he be kept at the clinic for a couple hours to be regulated.The vet said to pick him up around 3-4, but assured me I’d receive a call for him to be picked up. No call was received on my end, and when I tried to get ahold of the clinic nobody answered any of my phone calls.. I had to wait in the lobby for him for over 1 hour until the vet was ready to discuss my cat.Finally when my cat was brought to me he was in even worse condition! The vet bill was very hefty and she recommended I take him to a 24 hr care vet in the cities. I was promised information and numbers to call for those vets, but I was never given them.I told the vet I felt discouraged because nothing seems to have been done for my baby.. and she told me I’m disrespectful! Then she said she “hears that enough in a day” basically implying that several other people have also noted she is not good at her job.If you’re looking for quality care and genuine people this is the very last place I’d go in the area, and I definitely wouldn’t schedule an appointment or have your pet seen by Dr. Bremer. Good luck to you and your pets. I recommend the Garrison Animal Hospital.

Great place!!!! After being refused by multiple clinics I was worried no one would help my pup but the animal care center saved the day goober and I can't wait to meet everyone

While waiting for my son’s dog to have his shots, another couple had come out of the room after having to say goodbye to their beloved pet…all of the staff was in tears after they left. It was sad. It was real emotion. Thank goodness we have people who care in this world. Great place…excellent service, beautiful people.

The workers did a great job with my new kitty, Nina. She was having diarrhea for a couple of days and blood in her stools a couple of times, so I had her taken to them and they found tapeworms in her. They gave me some medicine powder pouches to put on her food every day until the pouches are gone, and she seems to really like the powder's flavor. They also gave her some medicine to keep fleas away from her as well.
