I’ll update this when I actually get my jewelry back, but it’s been over a month and I’ve not heard anything.So I called them on October 6th, dropped off a family heirloom bracelet for repairs later that day, and told them I’d be able to pay and pick up the piece on October 28th. The woman was very friendly, super pleasant at the time, and I felt comfortable leaving it there. She told me “that’s perfect, I’ll need about three weeks to fix it so I should have it done for you by then. We will call you when it’s done!” Okay, great. However, the 28th came and I still hadn’t heard anything. So in the afternoon I called, the lady who answered this time was actually not very pleasant. I simply asked for an update as I hadn’t heard and she told me “well I can see it on her work bench here and it hasn’t been touched yet, so it’s probably still going to be about a week or two.” I said okay, and confirmed they had the right phone number for me as I did not want to miss the call. She scoffed, said they took down the number I called from, and said that I shouldn’t cal them because they would call me when it’s done. However, here we are on November 28th, now a month and three weeks since I dropped it off, and I’ve gotten zero updates about my bracelet. The only reason I’m currently giving them a second star is because of how sweet the woman was when I first showed up to their office.***TL;DR: If you need a repair done in a timely manner, I would not recommend them.***

I needed a ring sized that I hadn't purchased locally. I went to one jewelry store in Brainerd and what they said they couldn't guarantee they wouldn't damage it by sizing the ring. I the went to Birgit's and was treated so well. They didn't have any reservations about sizing it. It was done In only a couple of days. A day sooner than what they said. I also had a question about purchasing another ring but needed 3 stones. She said she would check and get back to me. She did so within 24 hours. I will definitely be recommending them and using them in the future.

I am so happy that I have gotten to know Patty, the owner of Birgit's Jewelry, on both a personal and professional level. She has a heart of gold and goes that extra mile to make sure that her customers are overly satisfied with the work her company does for them. I am so disappointed in this place. Have had nothing but issues since my engagement ring. My engagement ring lost a diamond within a couple months of purchasing it. The main stone had a crack in it from when it was being set. They had to send the ring back to manufacturer to have the smaller stone replaced. I gave them a 2nd chance and ordered my fiance's band through them. I also requested a call back on wedding band to match my engagement ring. I was never called and today .. a week later, I called only to find out the girl had no idea what I was talking about and didnt want to give her boss a call and expected me to wait til Monday for an answer as to whether the ring was ordered or not! If it hadn't been, I wanted a refund. I RECEIVED NO CALL BACK ONCE AGAIN and when I called back, the girl proceeded to tell me that the band that I ordered was discontinued and they were suppose to call me back but never did!! When I mentioned the refund, she said her boss would give me a call! Seriously!!!? A ring that was never ordered and they're questioning my refund and expecting me to wait on the boss who didnt take it upon herself to handle things when employees couldn't!! The girls working their have no idea what they are doing and it seems the owner could care less about her customers. I would steer clear of this place period. Sad because she seems to have let her mothers legacy go.

Excellent customer service and very nice selection! They even stayed open past closing hours to help size my wife's ring finger and work on my watch. We will definitely buy our jewelry here in the future!

We have been buying our jewelry from them since 2003, as well as repairs. My husband brought my first Engagement ring from them, as well as my pearls that year for our wedding. Hubby once was an owned, Precious expressions In Anoka, Mn. Never knew them till he was looking for a ring after retired All repairs on old jewelry and size filling has always been done in timely matters. We also have done business with the other jewelry stores in the area and have very disappointed In some case the cost and stone values have been overpriced! So for us Birgits Jewerly has been the recommended Store for us. They are friendly, caring and great people to Do business with. Their word is their bond! I can truthfully say, we have brought much there. We have a good relationship with them.
