Order a fridge then a day later they move the delivery date back 2 days my wife agreed to stay and take delivery before she came home. Delivery guys show up 1 falls out of the truck and hurts his foot so they won't bring the fridge in. I called the store and let them know the next time we will be up is on 8/31 a Saturday and would need it delivered on this date. They said they only delivered to our area on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I told them they already made this an extra 2 day trip for my wife, they didn't give a crap and refused to deliver on the date we need. I told them I will cancel and order from Menards he still didn't care. Like I was an inconvenience in his day so I canceled the $2000 fridge and will get it from Menards. This store is not how customers should be treated!!

Why is this location filled with so many people who wonder around like they hate their jobs? The customer service is awful. You are always made to feel like an inconvenience when you ask a question. The online ordering pick-up is always a headache. Isn't the point of ordering online to have it ready & pick it up at the online order desk?! Why is it never pulled even though I receive a text stating it's ready? Furthermore, why do I have to go to the pro desk to pick it up?! Shopping at this store has to be the biggest inconvenience every time. I wouldn't even be leaving a review if this was the only time, but it happens every time! Where is the leadership in this store? I can't imagine what would happen if I treated customers this way at my job.

Unfortunately I had one too many questions when asking about kitchen appliances. I asked what brands are popular and the lady hung up on me. This does not make me feel like ordering at the store, how would they handle a real problem.

My husband went to pick up some concrete today in the Baxter store, one of the staff was helping load the concrete. One other staff member came out screaming that he was in the wrong spot to get the trailer loaded. She demanded that he go to a different spot to be loaded. His truck and trailer were already there waiting to be loaded. When asked why he needed to go somewhere else, she said because she said so and if he didn’t like it then he can take his business elsewhere. He did exactly that. Asked for a refund and took his business to Menards. Not good customer service or a way to treat customers. He won’t be back! If there was an option of zero stars that is what you would get.

I bought an oven the delivery guys were very polite and treated my oven with care, also all the employees were so nice and helpful. I recommend home depot

Went to Walmart for part for our broken compressor-didn’t have it. Went to Home Depot and TT Katie. She’s been at HD for 9 yrs and has all these awards on her bib! She walks us to the compressor parts area and doesn’t have what we need. She says “maybe someone in rental can help us “. Walks us to rental and Bela is there to save the day.! They both love their jobs and Bella had just as many awards on his bib! He took our part in back with 3 others and fixed it for us.
My hubby and I are so greatful for going out of your way to help us. We will always come back to HD in Baxter.
If there was a 10 star to give you two you’d get it from us!

Bought a Kitchenaid dishwasher and had it delivered only because Home Depot will not install in my area. I had my licensed plumber install it and immediately upon turning it on, it had an error code saying the machine was over filling when it never even filled with water. He tried troubleshooting it and it still didn't work. It was past 6pm on Friday and when I tried to call on Saturday both the Kitchenaid phone number and Home Depot phone number said it was outside their business hours and to call back on Monday. I wanted it documented that I tried to call on Saturday so I opened a repair request (that was the only option that even came close to my need). They set me up with a local repair center and said they would be out Monday morning. They never showed up and when I called the local repair place they said Kitchenaid had no business scheduling him and that he couldn't get to me for 2 weeks! I contacted Home Depot and they said because I was outside the 48 hour return window I couldn't return it. What a scam to not allow for a Friday evening delivery/install. I will never buy a Kitchenaid product or buy from Home Depot again. I also had purchased blinds for my house last fall to find out that you really aren't buying from Home Depot, but through a 3rd party.

Give the gentleman in Tool Rental a raise! He’s fully invested in problem solving with the customer. He truly cares, is knowledgeable in his work, and super friendly.
And overall, I’ve had such great help in all areas of this Home Depot. The customer service is impeccable.
