These folks helped us get a home equity line of credit when we couldn't get reasonable rates with other banks. The people who helped were just outstanding and made the process seamless.I highly recommend!

My family has banked here for 60 years. I have had accounts here since I was 8 Im now 54. There loan practices are very tight, I have 120,000 in equity in my home wanted 15,000 line of credit with an income of 5,000 bills of 2,000 and they wanted a cosigner EVEN THEN COULD NOT GET A EQUITY LOAN. They did not even have all the information on cosigner just the application. PEOPLE BELIEVE IT IS BECAUSE COSIGNER IS AFRICAN AMERICAN. Samantha ( loan officer ) told us not to bring in any more information the loan was denied. Maybe it was based on race not sure.Then if your account is over by just a few dollars you get a call from Heather ( loan officer ) on a daily basis at 8am. OMG. I have the mobile app there is absolutely no need to call an harass me. Plus I have direct deposit they know when I get paid.Its no wonder my parents did not deposit there money here when they sold there company. They send out letters daily with threats.Stick with the bigger banks or Chime, Stride are good also. Thats what Im doing.Not to mention they are closing locations.

Worst bank I have ever used. 3 days to clear bank to bank transfers. Every other bank it is instant or no more than 1 day. Opened an account and it took them 3 weeks to get me my bank card. They lost the bank card for the other user on the account and it’s been MIA since. Can’t pay for your HULU because their time limits for payouts is screwed. Lost or stolen card? Get ready to wait a while for the card and if you ask to expedite the card it will cost you $80.00. Every other bank it is either free or $5-10.00. Need to change any information on your account you have to go to the branch. Most other banks you can either call or do it on-line. And their mobile app is something used by banks over 10 years ago. Go elsewhere.

I've been with this bank for 20 years...for a reason! They take time to answer your questions, help you however they can, and work to make sure you know you are appreciated. I highly recommend the bank and all of the services they have to offer. Third generation of customers from this family!

“Where everybody knows your name,†at the branch anyway, but they use a 3rd party to handle most back office processing and what they do handle locally uses decades old technology. They go offline everyday to switch over to the next business day. If you make a deposit while they're down, you have to hope the teller remembers to post it when they get back online. If they don't and it's a Friday, you won't have access to your deposit, even a cash deposit, until Monday. Consistency is not their middle name. Sometimes things are done one way, sometimes a different way, or different timeline, depending on who in the office is on vacation.
