Beaver Bay Agate Shop is a neat place and a great stop. The store is clean, well organized, and has great prices with a large variety of rocks, agates, and Thompsonite. It offers a great selection of stones and curios for children. Visitors love seeing the private collection of fossils, petrified wood, and other cool rocks in the museum addition, which has some crazy pieces. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. It is a great place to buy a rock or to bring a find from a trip to learn all about it. Well worth a stop for any rockhound.
It was awesome they have a great selection of just about any kind of stone you want and curios for children as well. They've done some nice updates on the place since we were there last. Very nice store with a large variety of rocks.
