“Helped me out in a pinch! My wife and I were driving through Bemidji when I noticed lots of clunking noises in the front end. Looked up a local shop and found Kilde's with lots of great reviews. Called and he said to drop by a bit after lunch. Car was up in the lift and diagnosed within minutes. Turns out the sway bar links I had installed a week prior weren't on tight enough. They snugged the nuts up and sent us on our way with no more clunking noises. He wouldn't even accept payment when I insisted! I would've been more than happy to pay and would come again if we're in the area. Highly recommend!”

“OutStanding Customer Service and very prompt and knowledgeable on the phone and during the work. Doesn't hide knowledge or give the runaround, and tells you exactly what the car needs and why. Very friendly and compassionate. Does whatever in his power to ensure you have a safe/reliable vehicle. Besides finding the right part, he even helps you put it on, and helps with finding any other issue that the car may be experiencing.”

“In October, we were headed up north for a hunting trip, pulling our camper, when we blew a tire right in front of Fugates Automotive. We pulled over to fix it and quickly realized two things: I’d forgotten my jack, and thankfully, we were right next to an auto repair shop. I walked over and talked to the owner, who was friendly as could be. He told us we could borrow his floor jack, but didn’t stop there- after we pulled the trailer into the lot, he actually dropped what he was doing, came outside with his tools, and changed the tire for us himself. He couldn’t have been a nicer more helpful person. He even gave us a great recommendation on where to get our spare replaced so we could get back on the road and continue our trip. Outstanding service!”

“On September 8 I was traveling from Canada on my way home to Iowa. I developed a grinding noise in my back wheel. The closest Chevy dealer was Dondelinger in Brainerd, MN. I was greeted by a nice receptionist who walked me back to a service advisor. I described my problem. He walked right out to my Malibu, and popped a rock out of my wheel! I was on my way in 5 minutes! Many thanks to the kind, caring staff and this dealership.”

“My sincere thanks to Danny and co. for their service on my vehicle, in addition to their sharp overall knowledge about maintenance, especially during the cold winter months. This area can be frustrating when it comes to repair shops wanting to either drain your funds or places that don't have available slots for weeks. They are as prompt as possible here and if that's not enough...you get to play some fetch with the beloved onsite dog, Greta (German Shepherd extraordinaire). Stop reading my lengthy review and schedule an appointment here, dummy!”

“Honestly could not be more happy with the service I received! Resolved my issue in less then a day! The only thing negative I would say is that he is so good it takes a bit to get in...and that just means he is awesome and trustworthy! I was referred to him by someone I trust and now I can safely say that I trust him too!”

“Scott repaired my old bobcat radiator that was a mess. Very fair cost with no surprises. Completed very quickly. Friendly and very responsive... he even called me back on a Saturday. I accidentally left the cap there and they took care of it no-questions-asked. And the reason I came in the first place was the good reviews I got from friends who have used Scott for decades. Great local shop!”

“I was really in a pinch being from out of town and have a transmission that went out. Lindell Repair was able to find me a new (rebuilt) transmission and had it in and ready for me in a week. He was very open on communication and fair on price. He has a lot of experience and I'm completely satisfied with the job.”

“Thank you Frederick‘s Truck Repair!!! You guys saved my rear end. Broke down on a return trip from North Dakota to Michigan in the small Town of Cass lake, MN. Ended up in the parking lot of Stony Point RV Resort (Great People There). A friend of the owner referred me to Fredericks, though they were extremely busy they made the time to drive down and take a look at my truck. It’s an older Kenworth and has always been Plagued with fuel pump issues. Quickly came to conclusion that it was the accumulator side of the fuel pump. They were able to locate one in Fargo North Dakota and apparently had someone in the area to pick it up. This could’ve turned into a very long process, but they had me back on the road in just a couple of days. Truly appreciate your service and honesty. Taught me a couple things about my old motor I did not know. They deserve a couple extra stars for that. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Sam's Autobody was nothing but professional, timely (5 business days early) and did great work on my 2025 chevy Silverado Trail Boss. A deer had hit the truck right on the front corner panel and then slammed into both drivers side doors. Dirty picture, but haven't washed it yet ..waiting for the paint to cure all the way, the front corner panel got worse from opening and closing the door. Great job!”

“My Accord was experiencing mechanical problems over the 4th of July weekend. Jaret Wittwer, General Manager of Honda of Bemidji personally drove a loaner vehicle to my residence, even though Honda of Bemidji was closed. My Accord was promptly evaluated & repaired. Also, Ross, Service Advisor kept me informed of the progress of the repairs. I am very thankful Honda of Bemidji went out of their way to help a customer in need. Much appreciated!! Thank you!”

“Solid experience with Aazzee’s Auto Salvage. They were upfront about the transmission being untested due to a bad motor and still worked with me on price. Communication was straightforward and everything was ready for pickup when I got there. I run a powersports lighting business and deal with parts and suppliers regularly — it’s not always easy finding places that are honest and easy to work with, so that stood out. Would definitely do business with them again.”
