“Helped me out in a pinch! My wife and I were driving through Bemidji when I noticed lots of clunking noises in the front end. Looked up a local shop and found Kilde's with lots of great reviews. Called and he said to drop by a bit after lunch. Car was up in the lift and diagnosed within minutes. Turns out the sway bar links I had installed a week prior weren't on tight enough. They snugged the nuts up and sent us on our way with no more clunking noises. He wouldn't even accept payment when I insisted! I would've been more than happy to pay and would come again if we're in the area. Highly recommend!”

“Quite a bit speedier than you want sometimes, but it’s local so you have to support the business regardless of price.I wasn’t a fan of the fact that a starter I brought in had a $75 core charge, and the starter was about $300. But after they took apart my starter they said it was way too worn out, so they could only give me $25 credit towards the core.So if I had spent the $300 on the starter and just exchanged it, I would’ve spent $300. But because I wanted to save money and try to have them rebuild what I had, it ended up having to be exchanged and I spent $350. So keep that in mind if you are having them rebuild something, you might be better off to just buy what they have.”

“This place is the BEST place in town to have your transmission worked on. Ken is a great guy. He and his staff are extremely knowledgeable on what they do. My son had a clutch go out in his car, they fixed it fast and got it going again. Then, my transmission went out in my truck and they did a rebuild on it and had me back on the road. “Outstanding efficient operation! We were up in Bemidji on our annual fishing trip. We found our boat trailer had an issue w the hub on our drive. We called Dick’s n Chris told us that he wasn’t sure if he could get us in, but to stop down n they’d take a look at it. Chris looked at the hub n said “I can’t put u back on the road w this issue”! He fit us in the same afternoon n the mechanic not only replaced the bearings but without being asked checked out the other wheel to find it in really poor shape as well! Nick said he could get the parts but would need to keep the trailer overnight. We picked up our road worthy trailer the following morning and were off! We don’t write reviews often but we were so I impressed with their service, courtesy, workmanship and reasonable cost. We’d definitely would refer Chris, Nick n the crew to anyone!We hope you enjoyed your pizza tip, guys!”

“On September 8 I was traveling from Canada on my way home to Iowa. I developed a grinding noise in my back wheel. The closest Chevy dealer was Dondelinger in Brainerd, MN. I was greeted by a nice receptionist who walked me back to a service advisor. I described my problem. He walked right out to my Malibu, and popped a rock out of my wheel! I was on my way in 5 minutes! Many thanks to the kind, caring staff and this dealership.”

“Thank you Frederick‘s Truck Repair!!! You guys saved my rear end. Broke down on a return trip from North Dakota to Michigan in the small Town of Cass lake, MN. Ended up in the parking lot of Stony Point RV Resort (Great People There). A friend of the owner referred me to Fredericks, though they were extremely busy they made the time to drive down and take a look at my truck. It’s an older Kenworth and has always been Plagued with fuel pump issues. Quickly came to conclusion that it was the accumulator side of the fuel pump. They were able to locate one in Fargo North Dakota and apparently had someone in the area to pick it up. This could’ve turned into a very long process, but they had me back on the road in just a couple of days. Truly appreciate your service and honesty. Taught me a couple things about my old motor I did not know. They deserve a couple extra stars for that. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

Jaret Wittwer, General Manager of Honda of Bemidji personally drove a loaner vehicle to my residence, even though Honda of Bemidji was closed. My Accord was promptly evaluated & repaired.
