The older gentleman was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I might have caught him on a bad day, but I just drive right by now. There are plenty of other parts options in town.

Please read this whole review to make your choice for auto parts. The auto parts store down the street from Auto Value was of no help with a simple request for a raised tow hitch that would tow my pop-up camper level. The staff there mostly ignored me, and when I asked one of them if any of them towed things, I got a rude “no” from him. I eventually asked for a different staff to help me, and that request fell flat. I told him I was going to a different parts store, and the guy said “good”.Auto Value was a block down the street, and I was helped immediately upon entering the store. I can’t remember the guy’s name that helped me, but he was born around 1960 in Grand Marais Minnesota, which is my old neighborhood. He found the parts I needed and worked with me in the shop to put together a tow hitch that worked. It was very enjoyable working with him, and I can’t say enough good about the service I received there. I was traveling through the area, and he treated me like a repeat customer!

Excellent service by Mike and Charlie and of course, Don. Customer had his Pomeranian in the store and all the staff were super friendly with it. These guys know their stuff, they don't ask you if your transmission is an automatic or a manual when you're buying wiper blades. Plus they give you good prices if you're nice enough.
