Over the past several decades that my family and I have shopped here, we've experienced good service and been able to find what we've needed. Some of the prices can be high, but that's always been the case in northern Minnesota.

Luekens has the worst employer service ever! I went their to get groceries and I was kicked out for "harassment". So I get out of my car and these two young girl employees look at me and start snickering and laughing and pointing but I didn't care cause people can be people, so Im halfway done shopping and I see the same two girls taking photos of me and laughing and I just felt uncomfortable because I didn't give them consent so I finish shopping and I see them at the check out so I asked one of them what their problem was cause I was genuinely confused and she starts telling me I'm the one who gots a problem with her and that I was looking at her funny and I get escorted by security and told to not come back, I've been going for years and never have I had that happen before, In not going back ever! You've just lost your self a customer due to your employees.

This is a nice place to have a quick business meeting or get food to take home after shopping. Or you want something better than fast food. The Poke Bowls are excellent, and they have the best Reuben in Bemidji IMHO... My Wife presers the salad Bar which is fresh with a wide variety of goodies too. But skip the Chicken wings... The fried & rotisserie chickens are very good and make a good alternative. The staff is friendly. And it's a busy place.

We always depend of Tripadvisor reviews when traveling and you didn't let me down in Bemidji! Wondering the grocery store - great seafood and meats...but it was the bakery and their magical creations that first won my heart! Beautiful little tarts, cannolis, cream horns with chocolate and much much more! But the POKE from the deli was what sealed our love of Leuken's! My partner had Poke in Hawaii, and ordered the Tuna Ahi poke from the deli. I was not interested - until I saw it and tried it. Rice, spring mix salad, spicy crab, seaweed salad and radish sprouts - WOW. They have a nice area to eat even with a fireplace for winter warmth! It was so good, 2 days later we visited again driving 2 hours round trip just to have Poke and desserts again! Thanks Leuken's for the fabulous food.

They have the best caramel corn. We stopped at one and they didn't have the popcorn anymore for some reason so we went to the 'bigger' one and got 2 bags! Seriously It's sooo good. And I'm not a huge popcorn fan!

Ok who has been hiding this store from me all these years?! I'm not from the area, so everytime I go upnorth I'm hitting up the small shops, over priced and not a great selection. I popped into here while waiting for someone to get out of an appointment. Ok wow what a beautiful grocery store! I Love the huge deli and bakery area, so many fresh options! And a Caribou Coffee, my fav! Awesome seafood and meat section. A lot to choose from in the aisles. Good prices, clean store. I will be back!!

Lueken’s was our favorite place to shop for groceries until the pandemic hit. We continued with delivery or curbside until July. We got tired of not being able to take advantage of sale prices because we had to schedule out into the following week. The app is absolutely terrible. They must have bought the cheapest one available. The search engine is poor. It takes a very long time to get an order together because the search doesn’t bring up products that you know are availa

The soup and salad bar at Lukens south is messy and not fresh at all if you go after 4 or 5 pm The soup it empty in the pot and nasty dry in there! All veggies for salad look like the they all died Thanks

Great place, amazing people. Missing our regular shopping day at South during COVID19 - husband went alone this week at a quiet time, workers busy cleaning shelves, fruit & vegies looked great. You have all done a great job keeping place safe for you & shoppers, as well as remaining welcoming and friendly.

They are A-OK. they are slightly unctuous and insistent about bagging your groceries and wanting to carry them for you. If you are taking the groceries different places or putting them carefully into your car in different places, this can take a star off a rating. they have some good food and have both naturally and deliberately made MN food available in the store. Noticably, there is a chap in the back who always has a bow-tie on. He was nicer than most guys I know who wear bow-ties.

Employee owned grocery store offers a wide variety of typical choices expected for a grocery store; produce, frozen foods, deli, common cleaners and house hold goods but the real treat here are the sandwiches and burgers made-to-order along with an extensive salad bar selection that could rival any specialty salad restaurant. There are also a wide variety of of pasta and deli salads, hot wings, etc.
