I've bought 3 vehicles from Dan. Let me tell you about this last one. They rolled the odometer back, half the gas tank was filled with water. They put in a dead battery. There is a cracked head gasket. Plus they had the wrong vin number on my papers. All that to pay $6000 above market price. Do not buy a car from them. All 3 vehicles had lots of problems. This one is the worst. I will never give them the time of day again.

This place doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. They deserve 0.. made the worst decision of buying a car and buying a car from here! Bought a car and within a week of having it, it stalled in the middle of moving traffic and then it continued to stall multiple times and I brought it into a place that was suppose to replace a air valve but didn’t and when we had cold weather it wouldn’t hold a start and then the transmission blew while driving it! Waited months for it to get replaced and then that transmission blew… learned my lesson the hard way.

Dan was very nice. He helped me with all the things I needed to get done. 1st need to see how much your approved for at the bank then do your shopping. Had the car for 5 years now and no issues other than normal wear and tear. Want a SUV now so will go there and see what I will get for a trade in and buy a SUV from him.

I have been dealing with the owner of motor city since he first started dealing in vehicles and yes sometimes you will get a vehicle that isn’t perfect but he does everything he can to make it right. Remember that he is in business to make a living and if he didn’t make a profit he wouldn’t be able to stay in business. You can’t please everyone all the time but he is honest and sincere about what he is doing and he will do his best to help you with your purchase

DO NOT CAR SHOP HERE, they sell over priced lemons. I bought a car in a pinch because my previous car was shot and desperately needed a car (wasn't my idea to shop here) now paying for a POS. Like previous ratings the car was just fine for a few weeks then my check engine light comes on and now my tire is leaking air. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Reminder its tax time: Please make sure not to conduct business on a Saturday and always, always take the vehicle in for an inspection prior to purchasing from Motor City Pawn-Motor went out prior to 5,000 miles on a $10,000 vehicle. (They didn't resolve the issue)

This place is great! Ran into a little bit of hardship a few months ago. They were fast and friendly and very easy to work with. Even with getting back on my feet I have reached my pickup-date. called stressing out but the re insured me that the interest will still be increasing but my items will not be sold. Bought a 2002 Durango for $2000. Didn't start the next day and to this day has trouble starting. Guy was rude when we talked to him about it. Never going back to this place.
