I have two cats and three dogs and we LOVE Pets Plus! One of our dogs is epileptic and sensitive to most foods. When I explained his condition to a staff member, he had a lot of thoughtful and helpful advice. We found a food that works for all of our dogs (and our budget) and they’re all so much healthier than they were on the old stuff from Walmart. Pets Plus was also there for us when our Boston Terrier (now passed, sadly) developed congestive heart failure. We’re so grateful for this place!

I recently visited the store for the first time, and I was impressed. I love that they do not sell animals here. This helps prevents impulse buys by people who are not prepared to bring home a pet. The store also appears to actually care about quality products for pets over making money selling unsafe junk like so many other pet stores.
I went in for a product for my pet rabbit (a rescue) and was so happy to see very little of the Kaytee brand, which, other than the hay, is a junk brand.
This will now be my first choice when I need a product for my rabbit. Pet stores should care about selling safe products for pets, and it sure seems this store does just that.

Very nice staff and well-stocked for the things that my furry, four-pawed little one needed during our road trip. We have one cat with severe food allergies, so having limited-ingredient food is essential.

Easily Bemidji's premier place to get the highest-quality pet goods, specializing in dog and cats with a selection that is only outshined by their friendly, soft-spoken staff. They will walk around with you and answer whatever questions you have and the owner, Chris, will work with you if you have concerns about anything, including but not limited to if the treats you got are too big or too small for your best friend.
My wife loves walking around with her little dog and looking at the vast assortment of treats, she wishes they were open later so they'd have more time to spend there after work.
Could not recommend them enough.

Pets plus has all you will need for your pet! As the only local pet supplies store (others also cater to farm animals or just small pets) they do a great job at providing the community with high end pet products. When I have had issues with my pet's digestion, they have recommended pre/pro biotic supplements that have helped immensely! The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help. They have a wide variety of food, treats, toys, grooming supplies, leashes/ collars, and a whole section dedicated to cat needs. I love that they know me by name and even know my animals and ask how they are doing. I highly recommend this great local business!
