This was only my 2nd time eating here. When you walk in, it has a bit of an old Italian vibe to it. But someone had a thing for umbrellas. They're everywhere decorating the walls and hanging from the ceiling.Our server was awesome. Thanks, Jess!Now, onto the food.1st time I was here, I ordered a half-rack of ribs. After three bites, I found it to be cold. I sent them back asking for a little more fire. They were returned within 3 minutes. I could tell from the steam rising and the sauce boiling that they were just thrown in the microwave and sent back out. The problem was that they were still cold! I spoke with the manager and had it removed from our bill. Alls well that ends well.Fast forward a couple of years. The wife and I are on a date night, and I figured wth I'll give it another try (just don't order the ribs!).I ordered a simple chicken fettuccine alfredo while she had the walleye. The breast of chicken I received was so thin that I was waiting for some old guy to jump out and tell me, "For the cost of a cup of coffee each day, this starving chicken can be saved!" Making matters worse was that it had no seasoning, was dry, and rubbery. The pasta was cooked well, but the alfredo sauce was more like a bland cream sauce topped with parmesan.Even my wife's walleye, while visually appealing, had little taste, and the twice baked potato looked like re-heated slop in a bowl smothered in cheese (I'm guessing another culinary marvel from chef mic.And call me old, vintage, seasoned, I don't care. But $65 buck for what we got.I don't think we'll be back. Fool me once and all that.

Stood in front of the counter for minutes while guests awkwardly looked at us until I finally just went and found someone. Once seated, Staff was friendly and atmosphere was good. Menu was more limited than we would have preferred. Unfortunately the food was where it fell short. Really under seasoned, walleye had no flavor and was slapped between two pieces of bread and a piece of lettuce which made it a fairly tough to eat and super dry and flavorless sandwich. steak had good texture and was cooked properly but almost no flavor. “Loaded baked potato” was a small bowl of mashed potatoes with a little cheese melted on top and a bonus string from someone’s shirt on top. Green beans were not cooked well and had no seasoning of any kind. Overall just felt a bit disappointed especially when this is one of the most expensive places in town.

If you are going here, expect to pay a lot for a little. Google had two dollar signs for prices ($$), but it should actually be three or four.In all, the food was good, but it was definitely not worth the money. I got one of the cheapest items on the menu, which was a burger for $15. The waitress said that the burgers were half pound, but they weren't. Also, you only get a burger, nothing else. Unless you want to add a side for $5.If you're willing to pay the prices for the food, then I'd say to come here and try it out!My main concern was just that Google said it was not expensive and that you have to pay extra to get a side with your burger.

We had a lovely meal here this evening. The clam chowder was amazing. The deep fried shrimp and salmon were great. Service was friendly and efficient. Ambience was quiet and relaxed. Two negatives, the offered bread, while tasty, was a small portion. We were also charged a 4% service charge, assume for a credit card fee but it wasn't mentioned before it was charged. I'd rather pay cash and avoid the charge if I know in advance

Sparkling waters staff is always kind and attentive to your every need. They provide quick and excellent service, without making you feel rushed. Great Rueben’s, bacon wrapped asparagus, and their specials are a great deal!

We just had a wonderful dinner for Valentine's Day. Parmesan encrusted Crouper and delicious homemade icecream macadamia nut cookies. Very busy but relaxed atmosphere. Waitress was friendly and welcoming. We will be back

We were sat upstairs, we were the only ones there. Service was unacceptable, we were with another couple who placed their order and soup or salad was their option, they ordered the clam chowder, we ordered salad (nothing more than romaine lettuce cut up, no tomatoes, no cucumber, no croutons, nothing). Our entree was to have been walleye in a butter wine sauce with capers, what we got was deep fried no sauce, no capers. Our dinner companions got their entree before their soup, which was still being heated! When asked to speak with the owner we were told she was busy and we would have to go to her, so much for their ‘friend’ atmosphere! We never received our wine, they never received their soup, it was still heating. The Mediterranean dish the other diner ordered was swimming in water from the pasta, not sauce as advertised. This was our third time at this establishment and our last! The menu online with pricing was much less than the menu at the restaurant. I had heard that this restaurant had been sold but the deal fell through, so the original owners re-opened it, well I think it’s time for new owners who value their customers, I will spread the word that this IS NOT the place to go to be treated as a ‘friend’.
